Barry Keoghan Goes On The Cutest Backyard Dodo Dream Date

When Barry Keoghan first arrived for his Dodo Dream Date, he seemed a little nervous — but as soon as he met Lola, those nerves melted away.

Lola was surrendered by her owner and had only been single for about a month when Barry met her. From the moment they started hanging out, he could tell she was special.

“I hope that someone sees this video, and Lola finds a lovely home because she is gorgeous,” Barry said.

After they’d gotten acquainted, Barry asked Lola if she wanted to get in the pool, and she responded with a kiss. But first, they decided to get a little playful and kick a soccer ball around. After that, Barry cut up some watermelon for the pair to share out by the pool.

Finally, it was time to get in the water. Barry dove right in — but Lola was a little more hesitant. Barry tried to encourage her to jump in, but she wasn’t feeling it. Instead, he headed over to a kiddie pool he had set up, and apparently that was much more Lola’s speed.

“It’s amazing,” Barry said. “This is nice, hey?”

Afterwards they took some time to dry off, and Barry talked about other activities they could do, like karaoke or watching a movie. He thought Lola might like his new movie that’s coming out, “Bird,” because it has a lot of animals in it. The whole time they hung out, he kept giving Lola lots of kisses — which she was into depending on the moment.

Before they wrapped things up, Barry talked about how deserving Lola is of a forever home. Then, she got a snack for the road, some delicious Hill’s Science Diet for adult dogs, which she loved.

After their date, Barry got some great news — Lola was adopted and is now living her happily-ever-after.
