Kristen Doute Is Pregnant

It’s a great day to be Kristen Doute. People reports that the Vanderpump Rules alum is expecting a baby with fiancé Luke Broderick.

Since their relationship began in 2022, the Valley stars have been clear that starting a family is a top priority. In late 2023, the couple revealed on their podcast Balancing Act that Doute had experienced a miscarriage. Doute later said the miscarriage had given the couple “hope,” explaining, “We, at that point, had only been trying for a couple of months and we were fortunate enough.” The couple got engaged in September, with Broderick telling People at the time: “We’re putting a baby first. We’re putting family first.”

It’s been a big week for news from the Bravo world, with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz announcing the closing of Schwartz & Sandy’s. Doute’s happy news also comes alongside Bravo’s announcement that the network will be rebooting Vanderpump Rules with a completely new cast for the show’s upcoming 12th season. (In case you’ve wiped the events of 2020 from your memory, Doute and her castmate Stassi Schroeder were fired from Vanderpump Rules that year after it came out that they’d baselessly called the police on their Black castmate Faith Stowers two years earlier. They later apologized.) This means that Doute’s former co-stars — people like her ex-boyfriends Tom Sandoval and James Kennedy — are now officially out of a job, while Doute’s spinoff show, The Valley, is still going strong. Congratulations indeed.
