Sean “Diddy” Combs appeared in court in Manhattan today, where a judge set a May date for his sex-trafficking trial. In the courtroom, Combs was supported by his mother, Janice Combs, and six of his seven children (the seventh, Love Sean, is a toddler).

Quincy Brown, Justin Combs, Christian Combs, Chance Combs, and twins D’Lila and Jessie Combs can all be seen entering the courthouse in photos published in “Page Six.” According to CNN, Combs’s family was sitting in the second row of the gallery, and he smiled and waved to them as he was brought into the courtroom.

Combs’s family appears to be standing by him. D’Lila and Jessie reportedly visited him at the Metropolitan Detention Center last week. Additionally, Combs’s four children with the late Kim Porter — the twins, Quincy, and Christian — recently released a statement slamming the “many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents,” including the conspiracy theory that Porter’s untimely death was a result of foul play.

Janice Combs recently gave a lengthy statement to Us Weekly in which she said her son was experiencing a “public lynching.”

Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. In court, prosecutor Emily Johnson said that a superseding indictment is possible — meaning more defendants or charges might be added to the case. The trial is set to start on May 5.
