During Sunday night’s 2025 Golden Globes red carpet, all eyes were on Zendaya — for her bright orange Louis Vuitton ball gown, but also for the whopping diamond on her ring finger. Fans quickly speculated the curiously placed bling was an engagement ring, and come Monday morning, TMZ reported that Holland had indeed proposed to his girlfriend sometime between Christmas and New Year’s in an intimate setting at one of Zendaya’s homes. Sources told the tabloid it wasn’t a “big, over-the-top” engagement, adding that the notoriously private couple weren’t in any rush to begin wedding planning.

While the couple hasn’t commented on the reports, when a Los Angeles Times writer asked Zendaya if she was engaged on Sunday night, the actress reportedly showed “her ring, smiled coyly, and shrugged her shoulders mysteriously.” Fans also noted that after Zendaya conducted a mid-evening outfit change, she shed all of her previous jewelry save for the ring. DeuxMoi couldn’t help but chime in, running a blind item claiming the ring was a $200,000 engagement ring from London-based jeweler Jessica McCormack.

On top of all the other hints, Zendaya debuted a tiny “t” tattoo on her ribcage, though whether that stands for “Tom,” “tennis,” or “throuple” remains a mystery. I hope we get answers soon, lest Tomdaya fans lose their minds in limbo. Either way, one thing is clear: Love is in the air, people!
