If you're sitting around this weekend, and you have, say, 5 or 6 hours to kill you have several options.
1. You could practice break dancing.
2. You could re-shingle a portion of your own roof, guided only by online articles and half a Bob Villa show you saw 9 years ago.
3. You could read the first page of Crime and Punishment.
or ...
You could carve these pumpkins.
I did these Laurel and Hardy inspired pumpkins in 2006. Cause, ya know ... all the kids love and recognize Laurel and Hardy. I'm quite a dork.
Please ignore the bad, blurry pictures. I knew even less about taking pictures back in 2006 than I do now. Plus I didn't know that one day I'd be posting my pumpkins on a blog. My blog. Hah! I have a blog. Double dork. Anyhoooooo ...
I'll leave the choice up to you, but I can tell you right now, if I had 5 or 6 hours to kill, I'd be breaking out the cardboard and the boombox.
And we have a trifecta.

These are so COOL, I've decided to forego pumpkin carving (I am a two triangles, square nose and toothless grin sort of "carver"). Instead, I will bring up photos of your pumpkins on my Macbook and point the screen out my front window. Any kid who gives me grief about it gets a nasty old box of raisins in their treat bag.

Blurry photos aside, those pumpkins are cool! Even if the kids these days don't know who Laurel and Hardy are :P.
PS, your photos have shown marked improvement!

Do you EVEN know how talented you are???????? Seriously. If I can get the triangle eyes to be somewhat even and symmetrical I'm proud of myself! Amazing.

I showed my kids your pumpkins, and my son said "THOSE ARE AWESOME!" (he's 11) and my daughter asked "WHAT are they?!" And I said "Laurel and Hardy" and she said "Who is she?" BAHAHAHA!
