MAC Me Over: Stunner Blush
MAC Stunner Blush ($19.50 for 0.21 oz.) is described a “light coral pink” with a satin finish. It has more pink than coral–I would describe as a pale, strawberry pink with a hint of peach. It has a champagne-beige sheen, which gives it a less-than-perfectly-pink color. It is pinker than the softer side of MAC Mighty Aphrodite. It is a little lighter than Benefit Bella Bamba.
What’s nice about this shade is that despite its lightness, there is no chalky look or feel, and the pigmentation is there–but as a lighter color, it’s just light. I expect this shade to do well and be one of the more popular items from the launch; I think it will flatter cool and warm complexions. I do think it might be too light for deeper skin tones, but it might make a nice rosy highlighter.

Really lovely but I prefer other colors for fall…it just seems so spring/summer to be worn with cold weather.
i think i’ll skip this one, cos i can get the same sort of colour layering coralista over bella bamba! might soung weird, but surprisingly it works 🙂 what you think Christine, could that be any close dupe IYO?

I would say it is more yellow-based and more pigmented/darker!

I’d say Hussy is darker – more pigmented. Since it’s matte, it will appear more vibrant, since there is no sheen or reflection of light, which gives the illusion of a lighter color overall.
Love that colour. Reminds me a little of Fleur Power blush. Not sure though…

I picked this up at my local Pro store on Thursday! It’s not like I need another blush but this one swatched beautifully and, after wearing it yesterday, I can say it looks gorgeous on as well!

This looks fantastic on you! I don’t know if it’s the lighting in your picture, but the satin finish of this blush seems to give your cheek a really nice glow. 🙂
Is this blush very similar to NARS Deep Throat?
Deep Throat seems like it would have a much peachier sheen.

I own Hussy and Stunner is much, much lighter. Hussy is also a matte blush while this has a sheen to it.

Orgasm is much peachier! It has more of a play between peachy shimmer and pink-peach base color.

This looks lovely. I love a simple blush that doesn’t give that doll look that is so hard to avoid with pale skintones like mine.
Is Stunner “in person” close to how it looks in the photo? If it is, I will be 100% happy with it. Since it’s a limited edition, I will probably purchase two.

how would you say stunner is compared to alpha girl (in terms of pigmentation and color)? alpha girl did nothing for me and i read stunner wasn’t very pigmented as well
Alpha Girl is a darker pink because of its matte finish, but this isn’t chalky like Alpha Girl.

I love this! I have tarte’s cheek stain in Tipsy and I think this would go fabulously with it! With my super pale skin peachy/pink on the cheeks gives me just enough of a natural flush 🙂
