Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS just after sunset on the 13th of October. Taken in the Garland District. The comet will be visible higher above the horizon each night in the up coming days. It is currently visible with the naked eye, but much better in a pair of binoculars.

An almost 180 degree panorama made up of 5 individual photos stitched together into a mosaic. Each photo was about two seconds in length and the camera took a while to save as it was using noise reduction. The photo were taken the night of Thursday October 10 just west of Spangle, WA. Notice the how bright the aurora is compared to the Pleiades. This looks like a tiny Big Dipper on the right side of the image.
