Alison has created a faux rusty tin finish for her haunted houses on these altered jar candle lanterns. There’s subtle texture from the Harlequin Stencil and some Transparent Texture Paste and Gesso in the misty autumn skies, and rusty wire with Halloween Typed Tokens wrapped around the top. But the real magic of these is when they glow with light and the houses turn to spooky silhouettes. You’ll just have to take a look over at Words and Pictures to see that!
Andrea made an artsy page in her small Dylusions journal using Dina Wakley’s Everyone is Welcome stamp set. She also utilized Dina’s Spaced Dots and X’s stencils for the background.
Anna-Karin was inspired to do a miniature piece this week and created a panel which is about 2.5×2.5 in. The focal point comes from Tim Holtz Junk Drawer Baseboard set and the background was stamped with SSS Circle Pattern Background and embossed with Ranger’s Mixed Media Sea powder.
Barbara created a couple of Christmas Tags with the new Tim Holtz Stencil Poinsettia Duo: same stencil two different tags! She used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous The Poinsettia CMS426, Christmastime 3 CMS 427, Tiny Text Christmas Cms424. She added Idea-ology Paper Dolls, Idea-ology Countdown Brads, Idea-ology Christmas Tokens to complete her project.
Cheiron created a tag using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Specimen set to use in her art journal. She colored the tag with a mixture of Distress paints and some Crackle Texture Paste through the Dotted stencil. She added lots of drips and splatter with Dina Wakley Media Gloss Sprays.
Emma used plenty of her favourite Tim Holtz products to create a home decor project ready for Halloween. She surrounded her Entomology Beetle with Tiny Corked Vials and Apothecary Vials and completed the project with Halloween Tiny Lights to create a sinister purple glow.
Kath created a Christmas Home Decor project using a Small Ecetera Tag and Vignette Box decorated with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bold Tidings 3 and Flurries Layering Stencil, Idea-ology Christmas Paper Stash, Woodlands Tree Lot, Christmas Vellum Scenes and Tiny Lights and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Paper Village Thinlits.
Macarena embellished a wooden wipe container using Prima Marketing moulds and stencils with a help of Tim Holtz Distress Collage Medium, Texture Paste and Distress Paints.
Maura caught the Simon Says Stamp Gnome in Tim Holtz’s Idea-ology Display Dome. He’s hiding behind the Tim Holtz Toadstools and fall leaves from the Tim Holtz Fall Foliage dies.
Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media Autumn frame using Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Lace Baseboard Frame and Found Relatives, and decorated it with Skull and Pumpkin and Prima Marketing Fall Pine Leaf Embellishments.
Sandra made a creepy tag using a lot of Creepy Eyes, and used plain tissue paper to create texture and applied it with Soft Matte Gel. To make it a forrest like theme she used Liquid Acrylics Avocado and Burnt Sienna and the Small Tattered Floral die set.
Zoey used Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps 2020 FOREST FLOOR CMS422 to create the decorative elements of this tag. For the background she used Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 50 MST050 with some Grit Paste along with a bunch of Distress Paint.
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!

Thank you for the challenge!
Well, I got some tags made but did not get the Tim Holtz coffin decorated. However, my hubby finished the 2020 Halloween pumpkin carving.
