Lume, a dispensary operator in Michigan, partnered with Fyllo on a campaign to drive in-store traffic in the quickly growing Michigan market.

To identify high-value incremental customers, they leveraged deterministic endemic audience segments who had shown interest in cannabis products or had previously purchased from or visited competitor dispensaries.

Fyllo delivered rich media units across premium inventory, driving users to geo-specific dispensary landing pages that showed their nearest Lume dispensary location. The impact was immediate: 40% of consumers exposed to a rich media ad visited a dispensary location within three days, and 15% visited the same day.

Before activating the campaign, Fyllo conducted a localized footfall study to accurately measure the impact that digital ads had on incremental new customer visits to Lume’s locations.

By delivering premium ad experiences to high-quality audiences, Lume scaled efficiently, delivering over 15 million qualified impressions. In just one month, the campaign drove 1k+ store visits and a 2x lift in visitation vs. previous standard display activations. In addition, 5% of net-new dispensary visits came from consumers identified as “high spenders” by Fyllo segments.
