DEFINITION
Poetry is a type of literature that relies on multiple
forms of figurative language to explore the topic's
various hidden meanings.
Poetry can be challenging to define because there are
so many different (and sometimes contradictory) rules
that exist for it.
Poetry can rhyme, follow a pattern, or break verses into
stanzas of a determined length.
