By the end of session, the participants will be

coaching and mentoring practices

Whiteboard,

Art supplies,
ACTIVITIES
 Ask the participants to recall the terms coaching and mentoring using
Activity Handout No. 1.

No. 1  Take a few responses to differentiate coaching and mentoring.

 Ask participants to complete Worksheet No. 1.
 Make group of five participants and ask them to refer to select a
Mentoring scenario from Worksheet No. 2 and prepare a role play.
and  Let each group present the role play and discuss a day in the life of

Coaching AEOs.
 Reinforce AEO’s responsibilities Handout No. 2.
 Encourage AEOs for their commitment and hard work for the school.
 Connect with the next activities; highlight AEOs roles for coaching and
mentoring.

Activity 2: Re-visit Coaching Plan

Form groups of four participants.

Encourage them to present their coaching plans, previously developed during


the online training sessions, to their group members.

Supply each group with a flip chart and markers.

Direct each group to engage in a discussion to refine and create a


consolidated coaching plan, drawing from their prior session's insights.
Upon completion, have each group present their coaching plan and receive
constructive feedback from the other participants.

Re-visit – Mentoring plan

 Let the participants continue working within the same groups.


 Encourage them to share the field mentoring plans they
developed as part of their online training session tasks.
 Instruct each group to select one plan and develop a role
play based on it.
 Have each group present their role play, followed by a
feedback session from their peers.
 Guide them to refine and finalize their mentoring plan based
on the insights gained from the role play and feedback.

Conclusion  Ask the participants to revise their
mentoring and coaching plan
 Make sure each of them has the
final document that will be
implemented in the field
 Reinforce the key concept of
mentoring and coaching and
conclude the session
