How did you arrange the weights from heaviest to lightest?
Lightest to heaviest? How do you line up the digits?
If there is another space probe which weighs 4 628,
where should it be placed?
When will you say that numbers are arranged in
increasing order? In decreasing order?
Marvietblanco
Look at the numbers in 23 456 23 739 23 858
the clothesline. How are 23 654
they arranged? In
increasing or decreasing
order?
How do we arrange numbers in increasing
order?
How about in decreasing order?
Marvietblanco
To arrange numbers in increasing or decreasing order, first
pick any two numbers and compare them starting from left
to right. Find out which one is greater or less, then put them
in correct order. Then, pick another number and compare it
with the one of the first two numbers you picked. Then, put
them in order accordingly. Do the same with the other
numbers.
