Mensahe
My warmest greetings to the school officials, administrators, faculty members
and advisers, teachers, parents, and guardians of the graduates and completers of
School Year 2021-2022!
On behalf of the Department of Education (DepEd), I am proud to celebrate the
successes, milestones, and achievements of this batch’s graduates and promoted
students in this year’s End-of-School-Year rites with the theme “K to 12 Graduates:
Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience in the Face of Adversity.”
In the past six years, we committed to our mandate to enhance the quality of
education, broaden its access, and ensure its relevance in the rapidly changing
world.
DepEd endeavored to address each challenge by instituting programs and
reforms in the Department. We have fully implemented the K to 12 curriculum and
the aggressive reforms of Sulong EduKalidad to produce globally competitive learners
and teachers. We also expanded our mission for accessible education by
strengthening the Alternative Learning System (ALS) and the Last Mile Schools
programs to reach more Filipinos. Likewise, we also established the National
Academy of Sports (NAS) and Education Futures Unit to create more opportunities for
our learners and anticipate the future of the education system in the country.
Committed to sustaining this momentum, the Department developed and
implemented the Basic Education-Learning Continuity Program (BE-LCP), where we
offered various learning modalities and produced award-winning initiatives such as the
DepEd TV and DepEd Commons at the height of the pandemic. Eventually, the
Department held its ground against an unprecedented challenge in basic education as
we progressively expand the reintroduction of face-to-face classes in the country.
Indeed, education is truly a shared responsibility. This is why we express our
utmost appreciation to our dear parents and teachers for being our partners in
nurturing the youth throughout the years.
To the Class of 2022, resilience is in your blood. You have survived one of the
toughest times in human history, yet still embraced education as your primary tool to
success. I believe that with your passion and purpose, you can reach your dreams and
change the world.
May you keep on harnessing and imparting wisdom as together, we will build a
nation of competent global citizens and future leaders.
Mensahe
My heartfelt greetings to all our school administrators, faculty
members and advisers, teachers, parents and guardians, local
officials, and most especially to our graduates and completers
of School Year 2021-2022! On behalf of the Department of Education - MIMAROPA
Region, and as your Regional Director, I congratulate you all for a job well done!
This year's theme "K to 12 Graduates: Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience
in the Face of Adversity" is a resounding tribute to all your milestones and
accomplishments not only this school year, but for the past two years. The strength and
bravery that you have manifested not only made you grow mature as a learner, but it has
also made you resiliently smart to face and accept any changes and challenges that come
your way.
I would also like to congratulate our parents and guardians for their openness to
collaborate with the Department of Education. Without their consistent push and
guidance, our learners would not have achieved so much this past year. Thank you so
much for being our strongest allies, our champions of education, for without your solid
help, this significant moment would not have arrived.
To our dear teachers and school administrators, you have brought honor and pride
to the Department of Education for all the things that you have done. You have truly
shown sacrifice and tremendous efforts to ensure that education continues even during
this global health crisis. Since our country is slowly healing from this pandemic, and now
that we have re-introduced face-to-face classes in our schools, we continue to bank on
your ingenuity to provide and cater to the learning needs of our learners. There is nothing
lovelier than to see our children learning in their usual happy corners, hearing their loud
voices, joyfully laughing, playing and learning colorfully in a safe and healthy
environment.
To all our education stakeholders, our local executives, our partners in education,
we can never thank you enough for all your support, especially to our Basic Education
Learning Continuity Plan. May our partnership continue to flourish, for I am sure that
there will be more opportunities to come in the coming years.
In conclusion, let the words of Eleanor Roosevelt guide you -- "The future belongs
to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." Confidently follow your dreams, and
live the life that you have imagined with so much grace, vigor and bravery. Stay
committed to the future that you have envisioned. Embrace the opportunities that come
your way, and spread love and compassion wherever you go.
Again, congratiolations my dear grduates and completers, and God bless you all.
Mensahe
My warmest greetings to our School Year 2022
Graduates/Completers! It has been two school years since we missed having the
face-to-face Year-end Rites. Those may be the toughest years of your studies as
you all struggled with the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. You have
learned to embrace modular distance learning, which gave you an entirely
different, yet fulfilling and worthwhile experience. This situation has made you
become independent learners. You have survived completing your present
educational level in the new normal. This is an experience that made you realize
the importance of classrooms where you can properly engage in authentic, and
meaningful learning experiences. The presence of modules filled up the absence
of teachers in the actual teaching-learning process. Yet, you should also
understand how your teachers endeavored to ensure the delivery of modules on
time, especially for those living in remote areas. I salute you all for making it this
far. Likewise, this event will not be possible without your parents who provided
you with the needed guidance and instructional support. You strongly manifested
that learning is a shared responsibility. Thank you for being our partner in this
business called "education." As you celebrate this milestone in your life, may you
be reminded of the real essence of the Moving Up/Graduation Ceremony. It's not
yet the end of your journey to reach your dream of becoming successful and
productive individuals someday. You still have a long way to go. Keep on
pursuing your aspirations and fostering resilience in the face of adversity. As you
embark on your new journey, bring with you my sincere wishes. You are all stars
in the making. Shine on, K to 12 Graduates and Completers! Congratulations to
you Batch 2022 of DepEd Occidental Mindoro!

Next In Line
What has life to offer me
When i grow old, watch that to look forward to beyond abiding
call
They say it's difficult, yes, stereotypical.
What's there beyond sleep, eat, work in this cruel life
Ain't there nothin' else 'round here but human strife
'Cause they say it's difficult, yes, stereotypical
Gotta be conventional, you can't be so radical.
So I sing this song to all of my age
For these are the questions we've got to face
For in this cycle that we call life
We are the ones who are next in line
We are next in line.
What has life to offer me when I grow old?
What's there to look forward to beyond the biting cold
'Cause they say it's difficult, yes, stereotypical
Gotta be conventional, you can't be so radical.
So I sing this song to all of my age
For these are the questions we've got to face
For in this cycle that we call life
We are the ones who are next in line
We are next in line
Oh-hoh, we are next in line.
And we gotta work, we gotta feel (we gotta feel)
Let's open our eyes and do whatever it takes
We gotta work, we gotta feel (we gotta feel)
Let's open our eyes, oh-woh
And sing this song to all of our age
For these are the questions we've got to face
For in this cycle that we call life
We are the ones who are next in line
Sing this song for me
Sing this song for me
