(Learning Objectives : Theory and Practice in
Education )

Reflection
The formal educational process is
authentic and enabling learners, this can be
understood through the below two
perspectives
-Education as the training of the mind
-Education as the formation
Above both are the basis for the formal
education
Module 1 A Example: Learning of the facts and the
numbers and later on some set
experiments can be clearly achieved from
the formal education process. For E.g. In
my school times what I studied in my class
11 about economics subject is still I can
remember as to how to understand the
demand and supply concept and apply this
practically in all the settings in the real
world
Reflection
TIn conventional philosophy, education as
training of mind and formation is the basis
while in case of progressive education as a
recapitulation of retrospection and
education as reconstruction. I am able to
connect these philosophies and connect
them in my assignment to some extent
Module 1B Example: I was able to critically reflect
my learnings' philosophy as a learner and
teacher both in the assignment and also
able to apply this concept while observing
the classroom as which philosophy is
dominant while analyzing our own classes
in steam education we can see that most
classes are progressive but sometimes in
one of the class it went to the conservative
view.
Reflection
Different forms of enabling these
approaches are
1. Learning is an active process
2. All knowledge is socially
constructed
3. All knowledge is personal
Learning exists in the mind
Module 2a
Example: E.g.- This form was
described in the assignment up to an
extent and I have also presented on the
topic constructive classroom activities
which made clear about these perspectives
and apply them in the real setting.
Reflection
Pedagogical approaches arising from
constructivism are - Piaget's Stages of
Development
-Leg Vygotsky
- The Zone of Proximal Development
-Jerome Bruner
Module 2B
Example: After analyzing and
understanding how to apply this in the real
setting, I came up with a mix of these
pedagogies and developed the curriculum
plan around these theories with the main
focus on multiple intelligence theory
Reflection
This learning objective is not clearly
understood from my perspective
Module 3A
I
Examples:
have submitted the assignment regarding
inclusive education, but have received
feedback on the context in which the
question was asked that was not fully
connected with the same
Reflection
Developing this kind of pedagogy was not
an easy task. I went through the
pedagogies and the images of the
curriculum to come to the mix of these and
develop this one as an ideal pedagogy
Module 3B
This was developed as a curriculum for the
preschool with the main pedagogy is
Multiple intelligence theory with the
inclusion of the different pedagogies in the
nutshell trying to create the ideal
pedagogy which will promote meaningful,
authentic, and inclusive learning.
Reflection
Education at all levels needs to be aligned
with the sustainability
–cultural psychology, value inquiry, and
action research in an ecology of education.
– social integration health and well-being
Module 4A
IExample
have not yet applied directly in my
context, but I have observed this in some
institutions and came across its need, this
concept needs to be understood by the
stakeholders
Reflection
Developing this kind of vision needs the
baseline for the vision. When we see
education from the other perspective
IExample
Module 4B I am planning to have the following things
as a group to achieve this one
-planning and running a quality education
awareness campaign
- conducting a case study on the education
system and access to education in selected
communities or countries
-developing an inquiry-based project.”
what is a sustainable school ?
