Amity International School: Business Studies Covid and Education

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted education systems worldwide by forcing the closure of schools and colleges. Over 1 billion students have been affected by nationwide and local school closures across 53 countries. This has disrupted learning and nutrition for many disadvantaged children. Educational institutions transitioned to online learning to continue instruction remotely, but this raised issues of access to technology and student well-being.

WHAT IS COVID-19 ?
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by
severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Most people
who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and
recover without special treatment . The virus that causes COVID-19 is mainly
transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs,
sneezes, or exhales. These drop-lets are too heavy to hang in the air, and
quickly fall on floors or surfaces.
You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close
proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated
surface.
