I had a great time in the city with my cousin today. First, we went to a bakery.
We bought two (1) (boxes/loaves) of bread and a (2) (box/bottle) of biscuits
there. We also got a (3) (bag/jar) of strawberry jam. As soon as we left the
shop, we both had a (4) (bag/slice) of bread. It was delicious!
Since the bread was so good, we decided to make sandwiches in the park. We
went to the supermarket and got a (5) (jar/tin) of beef and a (6) (bag/jar) of
mustard. My cousin also wanted a few (7) (bags/bottles) of crisps and a
(8) (slice/bag) of sweets. But I wanted some fresh vegetables instead. I bought
a (9) (bunch/loaf) of carrots and a few cucumbers. We needed drinks too, so we
bought two (10) (jars/bottles) of juice.
Finally, we enjoyed our lunch at the park. It was an enjoyable afternoon!

day! Remember the caramel ice cream we made together last month? I want to
make that again, but I can’t remember the recipe. (7) (How much/How many)
sugar did we use? And (8) (how much/how many) cups of cream did we add?
This time, I want to serve the ice cream with (9) (a little/a few) chocolate sauce,
or maybe (10) (some/any) chocolate sprinkles! Doesn’t that sound great?
Cheers,
