She had learnt this from her loving brother at the age of six. As she grew old, she was
advised not to climb the trees as it looked disgraceful. However, she did not pay heed to
this advice.
It was feared that that one day she would fall but she never fell. However, one day when
she was alone at the home, she climbed a tree but could not come down. After her rescue
doctor took the temperature and advised her to take the bed rest for a week. Everyone felt

37. The word, "Pollution" come from the Latin word "Pollure" , which means contamination.
Hence in layman terms pollution is something that contaminates the environment. The
presence of harmful substances in the air, water and Land. Nowadays pollution is a very
dangerous problem. Mainly there are four types of pollution. They are,
* Air pollution
* Water pollution
* Soil pollution
* Noise pollution
* Air pollution : It causes of burning of fossil fuels, smoke and harmful gases from
industries, CFC's and oxides produced by the automobiles.
Effects of air pollution: It causes lung cancer, heart diseases, asthma , respiratory
problems etc.
* Water Pollution: It causes because of the water from the industries mixed with the river
water. And also chemical and radioactive waste dumping.
Effects of water pollution : It causes cholera, Hepatitis A, Typhoid, polio, dysentery and
diarrhea.
Soil pollution : It causes because of waste disposal, industrial and agricultural activities,
excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides.
Effects of Soil pollution: It causes , loss of fertility, cancer, damage to nervous system,
kidney and liver failure.

Constructions and crackers etc.
Effects of Noise pollution: It causes, headache, High blood pressure, hearing problems .
All this happens because of us, the human beings are solely responsible, for all sorts of
pollution. By educating the people we can control the problem. In my opinion, we are
already crossed the redline when it comes to pollution. so,
"Be a part of a solution.
Not a part of a pollution."
