1.1 Brief Profile of the Chosen Organization Serving as Client

Established in 2024, Metro Omniscient Wheels Corporation (MOWC) is a subsidiary of

New Century City Marketing Corporation (NCCMC). MOWC in the Philippines is one of the

leading importers of quality tires nationwide. Its extensive product range serves a wide range of

vehicles, including passenger cars, SUVs, trucks (bias and radial types), off-road (radial & bias),

industrial vehicles, motorcycles MOWC's distribution network extends nationwide, with 300 to

500 active sales representatives plus dealers promoting and selling its tire offerings.

Formally, NCCMC and MOWC were appointed as the sole distributors of Westlake tires

in the Philippines. Zhongce Rubber Group Co., Ltd., China’s top tire producer and major player

in the global market is the manufacturer of Westlake tires. (ZC-Rubber) . Established in 1958,

ZC-Rubber is proud to have established itself as the largest and fastest growing tire manufacturer

in China and the 10th largest in the world according to Tire & Accessories magazine that an

impressive 4.12 billion in annual sales of ZC-Rubber products including passenger, SUV,

commercial and . There were also truck tires, and industrial off-road tires, all made under close

supervision

ZC-Rubber’s global expansion includes a new manufacturing plant in Thailand with an

annual capacity of 5 million tires, reflecting its commitment to international development

Besides, ZC-Rubber has established overseas R&D centers and subsidiaries small in Europe,

North America and South America Continuously By innovating and complying with stringent

quality standards such as ISO9000, DOT and ECE. ZC-Rubber is dedicated to providing

consistent quality products.

1.2 Brief description of the project and its deliverables

Projects implemented by previous students for Mr. Lucio Y. Chen would include social

media marketing for his co-owned business. This included photoshop edits, pubmates for new

merchandise, tires for new car models, and so on. MOWC’s publication materials from past

interns included tires and tire equipment for SUVs, passenger cars, trucks, and aforementioned

vehicles stated earlier. These deliverables also included promos, process flowchart, promotional

materials for other social media platforms, etc.

Currently, the group is expected to focus on making publication materials posted through

MOWC’s newly built facebook page. These weekly outputs per product will be conducted from

January 13, 2025 - March 17, 2025

1.3 Profitability and Competitive Effect resulting from project completion

After project completion, the group of interns are expected to assist Metro Omniscient

Wheels Corporation in achieving their strategic, financial, and operational objectives. For

financial objectives, the online social media marketing will add to the company’s leading

standard of revenue growth, increase shareholder value, improve already excellent cashflow, and

widen profit margins. With the aid of online marketing, it makes it easier for MOWC to be more

readily accessible and available for customers, investors, and the general public to interact with.

Through the group of interns' efforts to gather and improve on the tire company’s clientele,

Metro Omniscient Wheels Corporation will readily reach and or surpass its target quota for the

year with expected popularity in Facebook. The group internship also helps the industry leading

tire company with competent individuals who are equipped with the proper training as well as

marketing and editorial skills to cater to MOWC’s job requirements for this social media

marketing project. With the benefit of also lessening expenses, reaching potential investors

through these stated pubmats will also create more equity, improve an already impressive cash

flow position, whilst being competitive with other businesses in the tire company industry.

Social media marketing is also expected to enhance brand popularity, awareness, and

consumer engagement. MOWC’s publications of various tires and tire equipment products intend

to make the Metro Omniscient Wheels Corporation more visible to the Philippine car

community. In doing so, the interns will focus on optimally allocating tasks to a specified time

for the most efficient and effective marketing workflow per the needs of Metro Omniscient

Wheels Corporation

Overall, the comprehensive marketing project plan focuses on forging new relationships

with interested clientele, building upon an existing relationship with ZC-Rubber, exploring new

relationships with other tire and tire equipment suppliers, and reaching more car enthusiasts

nationwide.

CHAPTER II: PROJECT OBJECTIVES

2.1 Project Objectives

1.​ Starting January 13, 2025 until March 17, 2025, the interns will help build brand

identity on social media platforms such as Facebook to create a recognizable

brand image and social media presence through means of weekly social media

posts, promoting new products and price promotions.

2.​ Attract a minimum of 1,000 followers within the first three months by engaging

with the target audience through weekly social media posts by March 17, 2025.

3.​ Drive growth and build relationships with customers, investors, and the general

public through social media engagement within the 54 working days of project for

MOWC.

4.​ Increase brand awareness and visibility to assist MOWC in meeting strategic and

financial objectives.

5.​ Accomplish all needed market researches, revisions of publication materials, and

posts on agreed deadlines.

6.​ Execute and deliver best final project possible by March 17, 2025.

The company's products and services would be promoted on their official social media

platforms, with no additional costs incurred. The project will begin on January 13, 2025, and end

2.3 Expected Outcome

The team intends to carry this out by creating a layout utilizing all of the deliverables
from the redesign of the company's Facebook page, expertly created publication materials that
highlight tires, tire equipment, and customer testimonials, increasing the digital and MOWC
social media presence, and achieving or exceeding the 1,000 target followers goal throughout the
project.
Since the business and the college students already have or have been given the required
editing and video tools to make the required weekly deliverables, the group plans to interview
the representative about the essential features. In addition to the previously listed items, the team
will use the resources to produce the greatest promotional images, videos, and other materials
without going over budget.

As part of the deliverables, the group will also create fresh pictures for the website
through photo and video shoots. Mr. Lucio Y. Chen can choose to engage a professional
photographer or have the group do their own photo session. These pictures could potentially be
used to promote MOWCs or for other social media posts.

Finding a website developer is not part of the project because Mr. Mr. Lucio Y. Chen told
the group to merely design the layout of the web page. Mr. Lucio Y. Chen has the option of
hiring a web developer to carry out the website design that the group has suggested.

B.​ MOWC Social Media Marketing


Other deliverables include profile views and engagement boosts from social media

marketing, in addition to the instructive video presentation and the design of the webpage. With

the aid of photography equipment and expertise, the team will collect as much data and content

as they can. The acquired content will be included into social media posts and the layout of the

website. To increase profile clicks, group members will also like and share fresh postings.

By accomplishing these goals, the project will be in line with guaranteeing a methodical

approach that provides MOWC’s with observable value, meets stakeholder expectations, and

produces quantifiable results within the project's parameters.

​ The interns plan to meet or even surpass the necessary standards for what the company

representative, Mr Lucio Y. Chen would want for social media marketing and Facebook page

redesign, highlighting the company’s high quality tires, tire equipment, extensive product line,

testimonials, and so on.

​ As the company and the college students already have or have been provided the

necessary editing and video software to create the needed weekly deliverables. Other than

these aforementioned items the group will be using said resources to create the best

possible promotional videos, picture, and so on without incurring unnecessary costs.

b.​ MOWC Time Goal​

​ The internship group guarantees by March 17, 2025, all deliverables from the

company Facebook page redesign, professionally designed publication materials

showcasing tires, tire equipment, and testimonials from customers, expansion of digital

and MOWC social media presence along with reaching and or surpassing the target

follower goal of 1,000 during the project.

CHAPTER III: GENERAL APPROACH

The company marketing project will revolve around maximizing brand engagement,

popularity, and online presence through its Facebook page as the marketing arm of Metro

Omniscient Wheels Corporation. The project per this description as well per clarification of the

internship group’s meeting with company supervisor and president Mr. Lucio Y. Chen would

revolve around the optimization for the launch of its products and services digitally nationwide.

Through the tutelage and direction of Mr. Chen the project will create a growing and developing

online presence in the Philippine tire and automotive industry. In accomplishing this, the group is

asked to do market research for not only MOWC’s products but also the current for any trends

that the company can capitalize on through tire and tire equipment acquisition. As such proper

delegation, time management, and use of necessary tools, hardware and software, are needed to

execute on the project's goals along with meeting or even exceeding the quality of deliverables

per constraints and expectations. In terms of managerial approach, the business management

students are expected to use every facet to lead and push each other to the best possible project

outputs and long-term growth for the company

Projects are categorized using the Wheelwright and Clark framework according to the

extent of process and product modifications and the effect they have on the company (Project

Management Institute, 2021). The digital marketing project is categorized as a derivative project,

which means it involves only slight modifications to the product and process, out of the four

project kinds. In line with MOWC's present products, this project mainly improves and

streamlines current marketing and engagement techniques. Its objective of greatly enhancing

MOWC's online presence and consumer interaction tactics led to this categorization. These

derivative components' integration under a platform project highlights a scalable strategy meant

to guarantee long-term influence while making effective use of available resources. The graphic

successfully illustrates how these components integrate into the larger structure, highlighting a

harmony between gradual enhancements and revolutionary goals. Within the parameters of the

MOWCs that are now offered, these initiatives primarily improve and broaden current marketing

​ The intern project team is expected to create Facebook postings for Metro Omniscient

Wheels Corporation (MOWC). The interns must guarantee that all content meet or surpass the

standard of the internship supervisor with the titles, videos, photos, and sending of posts

approved by Mr. Luicio Y. Chen.

​ The following are target demographics of the social media postings that include but are

not limited to: Car enthusiasts, car dealerships, car mechanics, tire shops, prospective

customers/investors, and the like. The pub posts for car enthusiasts must accentuate their

high-quality standard for racing, offroading, etc. For car dealerships, enthusiasts, and car

mechanics, tire shops, the posts must be used to answer a need for packages and customizations

for their customers' newly bought automobiles. And lastly for prospective customers/investors

these must focus on the size, quality, and what type of tire and tire equipment per vehicle model.

Testimonials can also be an avenue to attract more clientele and MOWC shareholders. The

aforementioned posts are done weekly, with posts being launched twice to thrice a week with

timetable per day depending on Mr. Lucio Y. Chen’s instructions.

B.​ Holiday Posts

The deliverables of Metro Omniscient Wheels Corporation (MOWC) holiday posts are

required for quarter one (1) and quarter (2) for the year. These posts must contain timely memes,

post must emphasize and spotlight the MOWC aspect of these contact information showing

industry leading quality through their tire and tire equipment products.

E.​ Customer Testimonials

Part of the Facebook publication materials would be testimonials from Metro Omniscient

Wheels Corporation customers. The project team must also create posts promoting the brand’s

excellent products, tires, tire equipment, and so on. The company internship supervisor and

company president, Mr. Lucio Y Chen will instruct and assist interns in creating photos, videos,

and edits for this.

4.2 Agreements on delivery dates

The delivery date agreement will fall under the 1st Term of academic year 2024-2025,

specifically from January 13, 2025 to March 17, 2025. The weekly deliverables along, day of

posting per pubmats, final output/s, with subsequent automotive market research must be

completed before the agreed end date. The schedule of weekly posting for the aforementioned

publication materials are up to the company representative and company president Mr. Lucio Y.

Chen.

4.3 Incentives and penalties for non-compliance

​ As per the Zoom meeting of the interns and company president and representative Lucio

Y. Chen, there is no agreement on any incentives and penalties for non-compliance of

deliverables, submission time and date of deliverables, and so on. Nonetheless, completing and

delivering on or before agreed publication materials, deadlines, and final output/s will result in a

4.0 grade as an incentive in PRCMPRJ. Inversely, untimely and non-delivery of the

aforementioned within the agreed scope of the group internship project will result in a 0.0 for

PRCMPRJ. ​

4.4 Specific changes in the deliverables

With any changes in deliverables, the internship group must contact and communicate

with the company representative and president Mr. Lucio Y. Chen, to discuss specific changes.

The project team must also deliberate and finalize on what would be the best action with Mr.

Chen for any adjustments. These changes must be briefed and sent towards the practicum

coordinator and group adviser Ms Jan N. Atendido and Mr. Ringgold P. Atienza, respectively.

​ The Gantt chart depicted in Figure above shows the progression of performance with

individually assigned tasks. The implementation plan creates a diagram to assist in planning,

implementing and managing the tasks assigned to each trainee. The internship's progress and the

duties that each person were given are shown in the Gantt chart in the upper figure. The chart

serves as a visual aid to assist interns in planning, organizing, and tracking the duties that are

delegated to them. In addition, all activities such as planning, designing, executing, coordination,

and improvement will be repeated as necessary throughout the project to ensure continuous

improvement and successful completion of publication materials and the culminating group

internship output. According to the timetable that Ms. Jan Atendido, the practicum coordinator

gave, the actual internship will start on January 13, 2025, and go through March 17, 2025. An

alignment meeting with the corporate representative and practicum mentor will be the first step

for the interns.

​ The tasks are organized into groups, including creating information and posting materials,

updating company profiles, and gathering employee testimonials. The supply chain is divided

into two parts. Part I outlines the launch schedule for SMS and social media publications,

including the Valentine's Day post on February 14, 2025. The schedule also outlines additional

launch dates, with several dates targeted at specific market segments following MOWC

requirements.

The critical path in this project is made up one parallel path, this is shown throug the

yellow arrows connecting all tasks. Per our latest Zoom meeting with the company

representative, Mr. Lucio Y. Chen stated that the internship group will be working under a tight

schedule. As such per our MOWC supervisor’s instructions these tasks would all be linear in

nature, meaning that that completion of previous task would be needed to move forward to next

task on a weekly basis per needed deliverables. Per our supervisor’s instructions they cannot be

​ With the tight week-by-week schedule of the internship the business management

students are tasked in accomplishing all marketing processes linearly. involved from Philippine

tire market research to content formulation of either MOWC products, tire equipment, customer

Furthermore, since the group will be following a linear schedule, all tasks would lie on the

critical path with no slack time towards the group’s deliverables onto the culminating project for

Metro Omniscient Wheels Corporation. As each task completion is pivotal and essential to

towards their strategic and financial goals.

tools required for distributable workflows are Canva and Adobe Photoshop, all free to members

due to school accounts. It feels easy, as this method of producing beautiful products for the

internship group is able to use advanced marketing and designing equipment at no cost.

When distributed and posted, members will use free social media platforms such as

Facebook and Instagram along with the company’s website. These platforms do not incur

additional costs, as each member can create and use their own account for free. However, while

interns are responsible for planning and preparing printing, the only requirement to submit

finished products is to the project manager, who will be responsible for the actual placement of

The outsourced requirement for this project will almost be non-existent as key processes

and outputs can be done internally by the MOWC intern team. The manpower for this Facebook

marketing project is equipped with the necessary experience and competencies from their

marketing, strategic management, and organization and management subjects to execute and

deliver tasks using the readily available resources of Photoshop and Canva. Through creating the

aforementioned marketing materials, the group will sustain no additional costs and will also

require no outsourcing.

during the project. In this way, the team could also plan how to mitigate the risks to prevent

waste of resources and delays. To further explain, the team came up with five failures: health and

safety concerns, industry-specific issues, organizational changes, unforeseen or fortuitous events,

and technical difficulties.

Consequently, each failure's Severity, Likelihood, and Detectability were evaluated to

calculate the Risk priority number (RPN). With that, it is concluded that 'Industry-Specific

Issues' is the highest priority risk while Technical Difficulties are the lowest priority risk.

automotive enthusiasts industry in the Philippines. Using Canva and Photoshop to create theses

attractive posts, pictures, and videos along with memes will help generate brand awareness and

engagement for the company. Along with an active online presence with catchy and or funny

into social media marketing. Through exploring editing software, the college students will be

able to further expand their technical skills on automotive photography, video production and

image enhancement, as well as layout design with inclusion of funny captions and or memes.

This exposure towards an excellent dive into marketing, practices team management, critical

thinking, problem-solving skills, teamwork development, time management, and delegation to
