CHAPTER III: GENERAL APPROACH
The company marketing project will revolve around maximizing brand engagement,
popularity, and online presence through its Facebook page as the marketing arm of Metro
Omniscient Wheels Corporation. The project per this description as well per clarification of the
internship group’s meeting with company supervisor and president Mr. Lucio Y. Chen would
revolve around the optimization for the launch of its products and services digitally nationwide.
Through the tutelage and direction of Mr. Chen the project will create a growing and developing
online presence in the Philippine tire and automotive industry. In accomplishing this, the group is
asked to do market research for not only MOWC’s products but also the current for any trends
that the company can capitalize on through tire and tire equipment acquisition. As such proper
delegation, time management, and use of necessary tools, hardware and software, are needed to
execute on the project's goals along with meeting or even exceeding the quality of deliverables
per constraints and expectations. In terms of managerial approach, the business management
students are expected to use every facet to lead and push each other to the best possible project

3.1 Wheelwright & Clark Framework
Projects are categorized using the Wheelwright and Clark framework according to the
extent of process and product modifications and the effect they have on the company (Project
Management Institute, 2021). The digital marketing project is categorized as a derivative project,
which means it involves only slight modifications to the product and process, out of the four
project kinds. In line with MOWC's present products, this project mainly improves and
streamlines current marketing and engagement techniques. Its objective of greatly enhancing
MOWC's online presence and consumer interaction tactics led to this categorization. These
derivative components' integration under a platform project highlights a scalable strategy meant
to guarantee long-term influence while making effective use of available resources. The graphic

successfully illustrates how these components integrate into the larger structure, highlighting a
harmony between gradual enhancements and revolutionary goals. Within the parameters of the
MOWCs that are now offered, these initiatives primarily improve and broaden current marketing
and engagement tactics. This was predicated on the notion that it would significantly improve

(MOWC) to guide its growth and development in the competitive automotive industry. The
company’s mission is to become the domestic leader and preferred partner for automotive
solutions while helping clients thrive in a fast-changing market. Its vision is to set trends and
drive innovation in the tire industry, enhancing the lives of Filipinos through environmentally
friendly and sustainable practices. MOWC utilizes internal strengths such as low pricing to
attract new customers and increase brand awareness, flexibility as a startup to adapt quickly to
changes, and strong initial funding to support its projects. However, the company is addressing
weaknesses, including limited brand recognition, a weak social media presence, and the high-risk
perception often associated with new businesses. Externally, MOWC sees opportunities in
improving social media marketing, leveraging the growing automotive market, and forming
partnerships with related businesses. At the same time, it is working to mitigate threats from
established competitors, economic fluctuations, and potential supply chain disruptions. The
long-term objectives of MOWC focus on creating a recognizable and trusted brand identity. The
16
company aims to establish itself as a leader in providing affordable yet high-quality tire products
while building a loyal online community. Strategies have been developed to achieve these goals,
including conducting market research to better understand customer preferences and crafting
social media campaigns that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition.
Implementation involves working with integrity to deliver high-quality results throughout the
project. Key deliverables include weekly Facebook posts and market research insights, both of
which will be reviewed and refined to align with the company’s goals. The project will run from
January 13, 2025, to March 17, 2025, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule and meet
MOWC’s standards. Performance will be continuously monitored by setting clear deadlines for
tasks and evaluating outcomes regularly. Weekly Facebook posts will be reviewed for approval
before publication, and findings from market research will guide ongoing improvements.
Customer feedback and key performance indicators will inform adjustments, ensuring that the
project stays on track and contributes to MOWC’s long-term success. Through this approach,
MOWC aims to establish itself as a trusted name in the tire industry and lay the groundwork for
sustainable growth.

With the tight week-by-week schedule of the internship the business management
students are tasked in accomplishing all marketing processes linearly. involved from Philippine
tire market research to content formulation of either MOWC products, tire equipment, customer
testimonials, and holiday posts on which each step would depend on the one preceding.
Furthermore, since the group will be following a linear schedule, all tasks would lie on the

Metro Omniscient Wheels Corporation. As each task completion is pivotal and essential to
expand the company’s online presence, brand engagement, popularity, and follower account

CHAPTER VI: PROJECT COST/RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS
The table above lists the hardware required to create and publish promotions. Each team
member needs a smartphone, laptop and reliable internet connection to perform these tasks
effectively. Since the project will be done remotely, team members are expected to use their own
devices to participate in the project. Consequently, the expected costs of this project are low, with
little or no additional costs anticipated unless unforeseen circumstances arise. This strategy
allows for a more efficient and cost-effective approach to achieving the project’s marketing and
support objectives.

4. Company's website 4 registered accounts No Cost
The table above describes the software requirements needed to produce high-quality print
materials, graphic design, and post on social media and company websites. The primary software
tools required for distributable workflows are Canva and Adobe Photoshop, all free to members
due to school accounts. It feels easy, as this method of producing beautiful products for the
internship group is able to use advanced marketing and designing equipment at no cost.
When distributed and posted, members will use free social media platforms such as
Facebook and Instagram along with the company’s website. These platforms do not incur
additional costs, as each member can create and use their own account for free. However, while
interns are responsible for planning and preparing printing, the only requirement to submit
finished products is to the project manager, who will be responsible for the actual placement of
products. If any accounts with advanced business features need to be set up, these features will
be provided and covered by the company. This process ensures that the business can efficiently
use professional grade tools and equipment and platforms, while reducing costs.

Table #8 illustrates the manpower requirement for MOWC’s marketing project. The table
contains the skills required, description of work to be done by the interns, along with the time
requirement to complete all deliverables for Metro Omniscient Wheels Corporation. Each
41
member of the team will be assigned responsibilities to assist in task completion for the group
internship. With each respective member having different strengths in their skill sets, the team
will help each other in achieving all tasks in the allotted time of 96 days from January 13, 2025
to March 17, 2025 through a synchronized and optimal schedule for each project phase.
The outsourced requirement for this project will almost be non-existent as key processes
and outputs can be done internally by the MOWC intern team. The manpower for this Facebook
marketing project is equipped with the necessary experience and competencies from their
marketing, strategic management, and organization and management subjects to execute and
deliver tasks using the readily available resources of Photoshop and Canva. Through creating the
aforementioned marketing materials, the group will sustain no additional costs and will also
require no outsourcing.

materials and website creation, feedback on
resvisons, and tire and tire equipment posts.
This can be avoided through following proper
health and safety guidelines, creating a
hygienic workplace, and proper health and
safety training.
43
Table 9. Potential Problems for MOWC Marketing Project

during the project. In this way, the team could also plan how to mitigate the risks to prevent
waste of resources and delays. To further explain, the team came up with five failures: health and
