Availability: Standard Hours of Business excluding Sundays and public holidays.
Response time: Engineer at site as per the agreed dates for maintenance.
Spare part availability from stock: As per contract.
Maintenance: Maintenance will be performed at 3 PM Visits a year or as per Customized Package.
Every visit will include the following scope of work:
1. Overall checking of supply in the system.
2. Checking the running current.
3. Cleaning the Evaporator and Fan.
4. Checking the heating element resistance.
5. Checking, operation of motor and starter panel.
6. Anode Inspection.
7. Checking control and safety/ microprocessor accessories
8. Check all the operation pressure and temperature. Inspect and adjust, if required, all
operating safety controls.
9. Check water pressure drops, inspect plumbing of complete system.
10. Descaling of Tank and heating element. (Once In a Year).
11. Submission of Checklist and Service report.
Scope of Maintenance
1. The scope of work will be only limited to AOSmith supplied parts.
2. The scope of maintenance is defined in the corresponding checklist for the products included in
the Service Agreement.
3. The spare parts installed during the maintenance service shall be charged in accordance with the
respective type of Service Agreement, if necessary, in addition, and are subject to the prices valid at
the time of the installation. This shall also apply to incidentals used such as sealing materials etc.
4. For agreed spare parts (if required) the conditions for their storage, which AOS will forward upon
request, must be adhered to unconditionally.
5. A general refurbishment of the devices is not included in this agreement; nor any job which cannot be
carried out immediately on site. These will be recorded, signed by the Customer and invoiced
separately.
6. If a repair of functional defects exceeds the scope of the Service Agreement, it will be carried out
upon placement of a separate order by the customer. The additional costs

shall then be calculated on the basis of the spare parts prices valid at that time and the current customer
service price list.
7. For maintenance and service work, which has to be performed outside the general business hours of
AOS and is not included in the scope of the Service Agreement in place, the current surcharges
collectively agreed shall be invoiced separately.
8. The service-personnel of AOS have to be allowed entrance to the devices at the ordinary hours of
business to conduct the agreed services.
8. Tools and Tackles:
General tools, lifting arrangements (if required) should be arranged by the customer.
LPG, Oxygen and Nitrogen gas if required would be arranged by CUSTOMER.
Special tools will be in AOS scope.
Commercial Terms & Conditions:
Charges for non-comprehensive annual services contract as per the following:

Payment Terms:
100% advance along with the Purchase order for AMC.
Mode of payment: payment through cheque or TT.
Exclusions:
All spares parts.
All consumables such as lube oil, grease, Teflon tape, electrical fuses, wires, rubber gaskets, O’ rings, paint,
motors compressors etc.
Calibration of instruments such as Temperature Gauge, Pressure Gauge, Pressure Switch etc.
Descaling or Cleaning Chemicals, chain pulley, crane for handling of units.
Labours.
