COURSE DESCRIPTION
Anatomy is the identification and description of the structures of living things. It is a branch of biology
and medicine. People who study anatomy study the body, how it is made up, and how it works.
Anatomy is a required subject in the basic medical knowledge block of the Nursing training program.
This subject will provide students with knowledge and practical skills on models, about the system of
organs and their components in the human body, the anatomical relationship between them, and
identification the important anatomical landmarks on the human body. Knowledge and practical skills
about anatomy help students absorb knowledge from other basic medical subjects and specialized
nursing subjects.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
After finishing the course, students must achieve:
- Explain the basic anatomical structures of the human body.
- Analyze the relationship between organs and systems in the body, between structure and function.
between the body and the environment,
- Select from the living human body the important anatomical landmarks of the human body to serve
others basic sciences and clinical practices.
- Understand the importance of anatomy to medicine, have a sense of working effectively for career
development, and continuous, lifelong learning.
