1. Scope
The scope of this plan covers the lifting and offloading of water station from Lowbed Truck to
designated location

2. Purpose

The purpose of the documentation emanating from this statement is to ensure that safety
objectives are maintained and accurate records are established for all related activities. The
objective is to ensure that the safe lifting operation is executed, controlled and documented in
compliance with the contract drawings and specifications.

3. Responsibility

The responsibilities areas and level of authorities for the designated team are summarized within the
below matrix:

LIFTING PLAN

3.1. Operator & Rigger


They shall:
 Not attempt any lifting operation or use lifting equipment, without prior
training/assessment, guidance and appropriate supervision or which is beyond the level
of their competency.
 Ensure they fully understand the lifting equipment, be familiar with how it operates and
the proposed lifting operation(s) they have been authorized to do and that safe systems
of work, training, guidance and advice are followed at all times.
 Carry out pre-use checks of lifting equipment prior to use, to ensure there are no
obvious visual defects.
 Have an understanding of the emergency procedures relating to lifting equipment in use
and take part in training and periodic drills, where appropriate.

4. Procedure

 Boom truck will enter the facility with 2 flag mans


 Setting of boom truck at designated area with proper barrication
 Parked the truck at designated place and fully extend the outriggers of boom truck
 Installation of rigging equipment/accessories
 Lifting of portacabin from the truck
 Offload the water station at designated place
 Removal of the barricades
 Moving boom truck out of the facility with 2 flagmen
