a. What special characteristic do the dolphins possess? What is it called?
ANS :Dolphins have a unique ability to see more and hear more than humans. This ability is
called echolocation, which helps them navigate and hunt for food.
c. How and where do the dolphins use their special characteristic?
ANS : Dolphins use echolocation in the ocean to detect objects and prey by emitting sound
waves and interpreting the echoes that return.
d. What trick did the Swordfish and the Sardines play on the fishermen?
ANS : The swordfish and sardines tricked the fishermen by having the sardines swim into the
nets to make it seem like a huge catch. While the fishermen were busy pulling up the nets,
the swordfish used their sharp swords to cut through the main ropes. This caused the nets to
break, and the fishermen's boats were rocked and rolled into the sea.
e. What trouble did the youngest Blue Whale face and how was he rescued?
ANS : The youngest Blue Whale got into trouble when it swam excitedly into the main sewage
pipe that pumped waste into the sea. It became stuck in the pipe and couldn't move, putting
it at risk of being harmed by the toxic waste. The Pink Dolphin, noticing the danger, ordered a
team of Octopuses to help. They used their tentacles to grab hold of the young whale's tail
and pulled with all their strength until the whale finally popped out of the pipe, covered in
black, oily sludge. This teamwork helped rescue the young whale from a dangerous situation.
f. What did the Blue Whales do with the pipe carrying waste? What was the result of their
action?
ANS : The Blue Whales, being massive and powerful, used their bodies to crush and push the
waste pipe deep into the seabed, effectively sealing it off. As a result, the waste could no
longer flow into the sea and instead flooded back into the factory. The sudden return of the
waste caused panic among the factory workers, who quickly tried to escape from the
unexpected disaster.
g. How did the Hammerhead and the Tiger Sharks contribute in the fight against sea
pollution?
ANS : The Hammerhead Sharks and Tiger Sharks worked together to clean the sea of waste.
The Hammerhead Sharks led the effort by shoveling the rubbish into piles, while the Tiger
Sharks gathered tin cans, plastic bags, ice-cream wrappers, and empty bottles in their jaws.
They then brought the collected waste to the beach, creating a large pile of rubbish that
eventually formed a wall between the beach and the sea.
h. How did the sea creatures make the humans realize their mistakes?
ANS : The sea creatures have used strategic actions, like blocking waste pipes or creating
disturbances, to directly show the negative effects of human pollution, making people reflect
on their actions.(ADD YOUR OWN ANSWERS )
