Lesson Plan Creation

Objective:
Create a detailed and engaging lesson plan that aligns with the standards of early childhood or
elementary education, demonstrating your ability to design age-appropriate and effective
instructional strategies.

Guidelines for the Lesson Plan

1. Choose a Subject and Grade Level:


o Select a specific subject (e.g., Math, Science, English, or Arts).
o Identify the grade level (e.g., Kindergarten, Grade 1-6).
2. Follow the Lesson Plan Format:
Your lesson plan must include the following sections:
o Learning Objectives: Clearly state what students should know, understand, or be
able to do by the end of the lesson. Use specific and measurable terms.
o Subject Matter: Indicate the topic, reference materials, and teaching aids.
o Lesson Procedure: Organize the teaching process into these parts:
 A. Introduction: A warm-up or activity to capture the students' attention
and introduce the lesson.
 B. Development: Step-by-step explanation of the topic, including
examples and interactions.
 C. Practice: Activities or exercises where students apply the skills or
concepts learned.
 D. Assessment: Methods to evaluate if the students achieved the learning
objectives.
 E. Conclusion: Summarize the key points and provide closure to the
lesson.
o Materials/Resources: List all the materials, tools, or resources needed for the
lesson.
o Reflection: Include questions for self-assessment on the effectiveness of your
lesson plan.
3. Use Child-Friendly and Creative Strategies:
o Design activities that are interactive, hands-on, and age-appropriate.
o Incorporate visuals, songs, stories, or games when applicable.
4. Alignment with Curriculum Standards:
o Ensure that your objectives and activities align with the Department of
Education's (DepEd) K-12 curriculum guide or similar standards.
5. Formatting and Submission:
o Use clear and professional formatting.
o Submit your lesson plan to our Google Classroom on or before January 16, 2025.
