C. Literary Piece

What's wrong with the world, Mama?

People livin' like they ain't got no mamas
I think the whole world's addicted to the drama
Only attracted to things that'll bring you trauma
Overseas, yeah, we tryna stop terrorism
But we still got terrorists here livin'
In the USA, the big CIA
The Bloods and the Crips and the KKK
But if you only have love for your own race
Then you only leave space to discriminate
And to discriminate only generates hate
And when you hate, then you're bound to get irate, yeah
Madness is what you demonstrate
And that's exactly how anger works and operates
Man, you gotta have love just to set it straight
Take control of your mind and meditate
Let your soul gravitate to the love, y'all, y'all

People killin', people dyin'

Children hurt, and you hear them cryin'
Can you practice what you preach?
And would you turn the other cheek?
Father, father, father, help us
Send some guidance from above
'Cause people got me, got me questioning
Where is the love?

(Love) Where is the love? (The love)

Where is the love? (The love)
Where is the love, the love, the love?

It just ain't the same, old ways have changed

New days are strange, is the world insane?
If love and peace is so strong
Why are there pieces of love that don't belong?
Nations droppin' bombs
Chemical gases filling lungs of little ones
With ongoing sufferin' as the youth die young
So ask yourself, is the lovin' really gone?
So I can ask myself, really, what is going wrong
With this world that we livin' in? People keep on givin' in
Makin' wrong decisions, only visions of them dividends
Not respectin' each other, deny thy brother
A war is goin' on, but the reason's undercover
The truth is kept secret, and swept under the rug
If you never know truth, then you never know love
Where's the love, y'all? Come on (I don't know)
And where's the truth, y'all? Come on (I don't know)
And where's the love y'all?

People killin', people dyin'

Children hurt, and you hear them cryin'
Can you practice what you preach?
And would you turn the other cheek?
Father, father, father, help us
Send some guidance from above
'Cause people got me, got me questioning
Where is the love?
(Love) Where is the love? (The love)
Where is the love? (The love)
Where is the love? (The love)
Where is the love?
(Love) Where is the love? (The love)
Where is the love? (The love)
Where is the love, the love, the love?

I feel the weight of the world on my shoulder

As I'm gettin' older, y'all people gets colder
Most of us only care about money-makin'
Selfishness got us followin' the wrong direction
Wrong information always shown by the media
Negative images is the main criteria
Infecting the young minds faster than bacteria
Kids wanna act like what they see in the cinema
Yo, whatever happened to the values of humanity? (Yeah)
Whatever happened to the fairness and equality? (Yeah)
Instead of spreading love, we spreading animosity (Yeah)
Lack of understanding leading us away from unity
That's the reason why sometimes I'm feelin' under
That's the reason why sometimes I'm feelin' down
It's no wonder why sometimes I'm feelin' under
Gotta keep my faith alive 'til love is found
Now ask yourself

Where is the love?

Where is the love?
Where is the love?
Where is the love?

Father, father, father, help us

Send some guidance from above
'Cause people got me, got me questioning
Where is the love?

Now sing with me, y'all (One world, one world)

We only got (One world, one world)
That's all we got (One world, one world)
And something's wrong with it (Yeah)
Something's wrong with it (Yeah)
Something's wrong with the w-world, world, yeah
We only got (One world, one world)
That's all we got (One world, one world)

D. Approach

Line Approach
If you only have to love for your own race, Moralist Approach
then you only leave space to discriminate.
This verse teaches us that if we only give love to
people like us (same race) it will be easy to us to
mistreat anybody who's different. The point or the
important lesson is we should show kindness and
love to everyone no matter how different they are
to us. Only by treating anyone fair and respectful
we can create a peaceful world for all.
Makin' wrong decisions, only visions of them Moralist Approach
dividends
Not respectin' each other, deny thy brother It tells us the reason of why people lost the
humanity and unity. Our different visions lead us
away to love one another and leads us to lose our
respect. In this case, each one of us must spread
the love and tie together as one.
Most of us only care about making money Moralist Approach
Selfishness got us following the wrong directions
It shows how people prioritize money over what's
truly important. When we focus too much on
money, we forget about others and our own well-
being. This line reminds us that true happiness
comes from helping others and building strong
relationships, not just from being rich.

Wrong information always shown by the media Moralist Approach

Negative images is the main criteria
These lines imply that the media has always been
showing wrong information that affects and
causes hatred toward those involved because of
biased or none based evidence, yet the media
continues to create rumors about it. In fact, they
shouldn't have done that because they don't have
proof or evidence to support the nonsensical
information they spread throughout the world. By
being unbiased and respectful towards each
other, we can achieve the real peace that
everyone has been dreaming of, and that is
exactly what this song is trying to tell us.
Wrong information always shown by the media Marxist Approach
Negative images is the main criteria
Infecting the young minds faster than bacteria This verse shows how the media, controlled by
Kids wanna act like what they see in the the ruling class, spreads false ideas to keep
cinemas people distracted and unaware. It promotes
violence and status, making people focus on
superficial things instead of real social or
economic problems.
The line “infecting the young minds faster than
bacteria” shows how quickly the media influences
youth to accept the system. "Kids wanna act like
what they see in the cinemas" highlights how the
media shapes their behavior to keep people from
questioning the system.
Whatever happened to the fairness and Moralist Approach
equality?
It points to injustices and inequalities that prevent
people from being treated equally, regardless of
their race, gender, religion, or socioeconomic
background. the lyrics are a reminder that we
have a responsibility to uphold the values of
humanity. We need to actively work towards a
world where love, fairness, and equality are not
just ideals but realities.
Yo, whatever happened to the values of Moralist Approach
humanity? (Yeah)
Whatever happened to the fairness and This verse expresses a sense of frustration and
equality? (Yeah) disillusionment. It laments the loss of core human

animosity (Yeah) they are being replaced by animosity and a lack
Lack of understanding leading us away form of understanding. The verse raises questions
unity. about the state of humanity and the challenges
we face.
Father, Father, Father, help us Marxist Approach
Send some guidance from above
The following line, "Father, Father, Father, help
us, send some guidance from above," expresses
the desperation of workers and the oppressed
who are looking for salvation and guidance from
God in a rotten system that fails to provide a real
solution.
Where is the love? Moralist Approach
The insistent question 'Where is the love?' makes
the listener think about
how much kindness and
care still exist in a world full
of problems. It asks us to
really think about how
much love is left in a world
that's becoming more
divided.
