INTRODUCTION
Work immersion enables learners to become familiar with the workplace, and apply their
competencies in authentic work environments. Further, strengthened by the issuance of the
DepEd Order No. 30, s. of 2017, the programs aims to help develop life and career skills and
prepare learners to decide regarding their post-secondary education or employment.
Being in line with the General Academic Tracks I was assigned to work in tan office
setting. Having this kind of training it enhances and builds my skills and knowledge to what the
real world of what is the office work all about. Education and theories learned from school is
further deepen with the help of On- The – Job training. Students learned from their teachers and
apply it within the work environment under the normal working condition. OJT trains student
how to perform their job as the office worker which is I assigned in the accessors office further
all the knowledge needed may apply to my future work.
This work immersion is a requirement of every Grade 12 graduating students of Sumoroy
Agro- Industrial School. A senior high School students has to undergo Work immersionin an
industry or institution that directly relates to a students pre secondary goal. Through work
immersion, students exposed to and become familiar with office work setting to also enhance
their competencies. Students will gain relevant and practical work experience under the
supervision of the head of office or anyone in the office who can facilitate the work immersion
students.
During my work immersion , there were lots of goals flowing in my mind. First , since I
was here, I need to focused and work seriously since this is a requirement for me to graduate in
my Senior HighSchool Journey, second is I will do my best and exile my skills and last is I will
make this one as memorable experience that I will never forget if I am in the real life scenario of
working in the office. It is always a priviledge and honor to wotk in the Acessors ofiice, having a
very accommodating head of office and workers. The whole time that I was in this office, I’ve
been interact with different people , different employee,different attitudes , personality and also
different persfective in life it provides me a lot of insights on how to deal with it, about the roles
regulations I could perform.
In reflection to my first day or being an OJT, it was memorable since we are being
introduce to every in the office, I’m quite shy but it is manageable and I am very excited to what
really an office work is.
All the skills, knowledge and experiences I’ve learned from this work immersion will
help me a lot as future reference if the time is in favor of my success. I will always remember
this experience and keep forever.
I always thankful to my family for the love and inspiration you never left through out this
journey. And also very thankful god for giving me wisdom and goodhealth to perform very well
