Church Profile

OUR VISION
Vision is not about reality, or what is; vision is about our dreams and aspirations…what could be.

At Christian Community Fellowship of Building Bridges for Christ International Inc.:

We envision a place where the lonely, the hurting, the bound, and the oppressed can find love, healing,
freedom, hope and salvation.

We envision sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with thousands of unsaved friends and people in our
communities and around the world, many of whom will receive Christ as Lord and Savior.

We envision all of our members developing into fully devoted and fully equipped followers of Jesus Christ
through our worship services, adult Bible fellowships, children’s ministries, etc.

We envision a larger facility that will accommodate our growth. This facility will provide ample room for
our worship services, adult Bible fellowships, children’s ministries, and other meetings and programs that
will encourage growth in Christ. While we do not adopt the philosophy that “bigger is better,” numerical
growth is, however, a by-product of evangelism. Therefore, we desire to grow by converting lost souls to
Christ.

This is our dream - our vision

OUR MISSION
As a body of Christ, Christian Community Fellowship of Building Bridges for Christ Inc. exist to:

Evangelize the community to become followers of Jesus Christ (Evangelism)

Exalt God through worship and prayer, fellowship and ministry of the word (Worship)

Enlist them into the church family (Membership)

Equip members to become responsible, serving and reproducing Christians (Discipleship)

Engage in prophetic and social concerns; and to participate in local and foreign missions (Ministry)

OUR PERSONALITY
We are a group of individuals who have been brought together by God with each of us sharing our
common love for Him and a desire to do His work. As a Church we can look back with great thanks for
the many ways we have been blessed spiritually. We are now looking forward to where He will lead
us in our next season.

We are agreed that outreach must be at the heart of it; whilst recognizing that bible teaching is the
foundation to build up, equip and inspire our church family. We are open to the work and gifts of the
Holy Spirit, with a passionate love for the Lord, each other and more importantly for those in our
community who do not know Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior.

Our Services

Sunday Services

Our usual Sunday service has between 15-20 regularly attending. Our worship is predominantly
contemporary with some more traditional songs led by a group of musicians. There are age-
appropriate children and youth activities supported by volunteers during the service, and our
children usually leave the service after the first 30 minutes.

The emphasis of our gathered times together is very much on Word and Spirit. We always try to be
open to the Holy Spirit, and we often have open times of prayer. We would like to be more open to the
gifts of the Holy Spirit in our corporate worship.

We have communion together usually on the first Sunday of the month.

Other Services
During the week we have a lunchtime Communion service on a Wednesday. Although only attended

by a small number of people, it offers a chance to pray together, and especially pray for others.

We also have Inclusive Church services three times a year. These services are planned with and
include adults with learning difficulties from People First Dorset group, the Friendship Club. They are
always very special occasions and a joy to be part of.

Our Leadership
We have Senior Pastor and Associate Pastor working together in providing vision and direction to
our Church. We have Lady Minister working with the Children and music ministry of our church. We
have four new graduates from Harvester Miracle Bible College who are also helping our church
ministries such as Bible Study and Prayer Ministries.

Our Activities
A few highlights:
• We have a Bible Study held once a week within the community
• We have Bible study held every Tuesday for the members
• We have a Women’s Fellowship every Friday
• We have prayer meeting every Wednesday

There are many other activities happening in our Church (our annual report provides a
comprehensive list).

Children & Youth

Our children and youth work are a major part of what we do. We have age-appropriate groups on a
Sunday morning, from creche babies through to 18-year-olds.

Locality
Sto. Tomas Batangas is one of the most progressive City in the province of Batangas. It has first,
middle and senior schools that have a very good reputation.
It has Catholic, Evangelical and Full Gospel Churches, and there are strong links, in particular,
between the leaders of the Evangelical Churches.

Challenges
We recognize that although there are lots of things we do well, there are still significant areas of
challenge that we hope, a new place of worship that can accommodate as many as fifty to one
hundred worshipers.

Worship
While we have a number of gifted musicians and worship leaders, inevitably, like other churches with
mixed ages, musical instruments and equipment are needed. We need to see how best we can
address this for our current and future needs.
