SYSTEM OVERVIEW
technology incorporates the concept of Indirect & Direct Evaporative Cooling (IDEC) in a variety
of capacities and models, but the functional performance of all models remains the same. The concept
of Indirect cooling as a first stage provides sensible cooling whereas the second stage, Direct, provides
adiabatic cooling. The total IDEC system functions are ideally specified as described in the psychrometric
chart (Figure 2) and IDEC schematic (Figure 3).
MAIN FEATURES
• Powerful cooling: The IDEC technology is an advanced and innovative cooling technology that is capable
of delivering the most comfortable cooling including humidifying dry environments.
• Smart operating and energy-saving system: Smart operating system that switches among different
cooling modes to save up to 80% energy compared to conventional air conditioners.
• Smart water control system: A system that optimizes water usage and extends the life of the unit.
• Smart controller: Smart & user-friendly controller that displays all information about external and internal
temperatures and humidity.
• Alarm system: advanced warning system sends the display warning messages against any case of
water shortage, dirty filter, or electrical overloads.
• Easy & lower installation cost: Installation time and costs are reduced by easy power and control wiring
connections.
• Smooth operation: The unit may be installed ducted or non-ducted, with no need for a return duct.
• Redundancy: The design incorporates a separate precooling system and heat exchanger section to ensure
the highest performance.
• Single power connection: Single power connection to ensure easy maintenance and installation.
• Multiple filtrations: Multiple filter sections ensure a clear and healthy environments.

CONTROLLER
About the controller
The Control System automatically responds to external weather conditions, switching its cooling strategy for
maintaining indoor comfort levels. This control strategy ensures comfort performance, high efficiency, and
significant energy savings. This also means that this leading cooling technology can be applied anywhere
in the world, providing energy-efficient cooling without compromise. The system uses a psychrometric
calculation to determine and then select the best cooling approach at any point in time.
The controller adjusts its operations according to ambient temperature; the running modes include fan,
direct evaporating, indirect evaporating, and auto mode which includes automatic water supply, power
failure memory, and other functions.
Safety alarm & protection features
• Power supply protection.
The main control board includes the protections for phase sequence or missing phase (no need for single
phase products).
• Flow-switch protection.
• Low water level pump protection.
The controller gives an alarm for low water levels, and the related water pumps will stop operating.
• Water pump missing/no supply current protection
Once the water pump starts, the controller keeps checking the current. When the detected value is 0, it gives
an alarm for missing or no power supply current, and the whole unit will stop.
• Overload protection
a. When the water pump is running, if the detected current value is higher than the set protection value, the
system gives an overload alarm, and the whole unit stops.
b. When the digital input switch of the water pump is detected in open status, the system gives an alarm
for overload, and the whole unit stops.
• Dirty filter protection.
After the unit runs for some time, there will be dust and dirt on the filters which will reduce the airflow. When
the pressure difference reaches the set value (settable through pressure difference switch), the system gives
an alarm for a dirty filter. The fan will not stop, and this protection is just to remind the user to clean the filter.

Recommended solar system type:
Self Consumption-Zero Export PV Solar system
What is a “Zero export PV solar system”?
When the solar system is connected directly to the grid through inverters; the produced energy is transmitted
to the site for self-consumption to reduce the site’s carbon footprint and decrease energy costs.
