A) GENERAL PRECAUTIONS:
1. Checking all External Electric Points.

2. Checking plug socket are
3. Protect all Electrical DB’s / welding machines from water by
covering with plastic Sheet
4. Arrange Tarpaulin to protect materials at site
5. Ensure stability of scaffoldings daily before commencement of
work
6. Provide sufficient rest place for workmen during rain
B) SAFE GUARDING HEALTH PRECAUTIONS:
1. During monsoon period ,use PVC shoes /gum boots/Ankle

Shoes on the site
2. If you have any cuts and wounds on your feet or hands, after
washing, apply antiseptic lotion (Dettol /Savlon) to it.
3. See that containers filled with water are not kept open for a
long time.
4. Drinks purified water and avoid junk food and cut fruits.
5. Malaria, leptospirosis, typhoid, jaundice and cholera are
common rainwater induced diseases. Do not ignore the
symptoms of ill health. Consult a Doctor immediately.
6. As per municipal corporation requirement, heath related
requirement will be compiled.
C) STORE PRECAUTIONS:
1. Material & Equipment should be place in Dry place.

2. Ensure Proper Housekeeping in Store area.
3. Rain water Drainage Line should be clean & clear.
4. All Electric cable should be at height 2 meter.
5. Material stacking properly.
D) EECTRICAL PRECAUTIONS:
1. All Electrical Equipment Inspected properly.

2. Ensure all electric connections shall be taken through electric
distribution boards with fitted RCCB.
3. All electric distribution boards shall be protected from rain
water.
4. All Electric installation shall be properly Earthed to Ground
and protected From Rain water.
5. All Electric connections through Industrial plug and socket.
6. Do not touch the electric installation in wet place.
7. Never Allow Cable joints in water.
8. Ensure all halogen fittings protected against water ingress
through glass fittings.
E) HOT WORK PRECAUTIONS:
1. Welding machine should be place at Dry place.

2. Cables routed at dry area.
3. Grounding will be provided on welding machine.
4. Without proper Welding PPE Don't allow to do work.
5. Provided Separate Fire Extinguisher to separate work place.
F) HEIGHT WORK PRECAUTIONS:
1. Provide Full body harness to do work safely.

2. Do not place ladder on slippery surface.
3. During Rain Don’t use metal ladder near electric supply.
4. Don’t allow to work in shaft during rain.
5. Mobile scaffold wheel checked locked properly.
6. During Heavy wind don’t allow to work.
G) WORK IN BASEMENT PRECAUTIONS:
1. Do not allow to work in basement During Heavy Rain.

2. Provide Proper Ventilation & Illumination.
3. Provide Safe entrance & egress.
4. Keep Clean & Clear water Drainage connection.
