Career Choice 1: Software Developer

Essential Skills:

​ Programming Languages like Java, Python, C++, etc.


​ Problem-Solving Ability to analyze complex issues
​ Collaboration Working in teams
​ Creativity
​ Continuous Learning: Keeping up-to-date

​ Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a
related field required. Some positions may also accept candidates with relevant
certifications and experience.

Degree/Certification Programs in Ontario:

​ Bachelor of Computer Science at University of Toronto - CAD $12,000 to $16,000


per year
​ Software Engineering Diploma at Seneca College - CAD $2,500 to $4,000 per
semester
​ Computer Programming and Analysis at Humber College - CAD $3,000 to $4,000
