Pre-lesson: Teacher surveys the classroom about their favourite toys, colours,
numbers and places.
Lesson delivery:
1. Teacher tells pupils that they will play a game like Simon says but it will be

2. The teacher can start with “clap your hands if your favourite colour is red” and
continue with other gestures to make sure that all the pupils have participated at

Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils refer to textbook page 74 Activity 1. Teacher asks a few questions (Who is
the boy? Where is he? What’s he doing?)
2. Teacher asks the first object and what it is made of.
3. Pupils listen to audio 1.27. Teacher can bring in the realia and items to show

4. In pairs, pupils take turns to practise the dialogue.

5. Pupils refer to Activity 2 and the teacher asks what is the item used for.
6. Pupils say the sentences to describe other objects made of and used for.
7. Based on the dialogue in Activity 1, pupils make a new dialogue about objects in
Activity 2.
8. Pupils write the dialogue and practise the dialogue.
Post-lesson: Pupils perform the dialogue.
