LEARNINF ACTIVITY 2
Understanding Leadership Style
If you were given a chance to lead a group, what leadership style would you like to use and
why?
If given the chance to lead a group, I would adopt a task-oriented leadership style. This approach
works well because the team members know their responsibilities and the tasks they've been
assigned. Task-oriented leadership promotes efficiency and enhances work performance, making
it beneficial for the organization. In other words, it is an ideal leadership style in today's
competitive world.
LEARNING ACTIVITY 3
More on Leadership
1. My Model Leader
I consider Socrates and Immanuel Kant as model leaders. Despite their differences, both
emphasized wisdom, ethics, and guiding others toward better decisions. Socrates encouraged
critical thinking, while Kant focused on moral responsibility. Their leadership was effective
because they prioritized truth, integrity, and the well-being of others.
Among the well-known leaders in the world, choose a leader (one international, one local) whom
do you think is a model leader. Why do you consider them as role model in leadership? What
makes their leadership effective? What are their personality traits, characteristics, and positive
habits?
2. Who is a leader to you?
A philosopher is responsible, resilient, and adaptable, embracing challenges and change. Like
Socrates and Kant, they encourage critical thinking and moral responsibility, taking calculated
risks and solving problems. Strong decision-making and guiding others toward ethical growth
are key to effective philosophical leadership.
Give your own characteristics or qualities of a good leader.
Responsible Resilient Accountable
Confident Adaptable Risk-Taker
