Introduction
Artificial Intelligence is a paradigm of computing that aims to mimic human
intelligence, enabling machines to learn from experience, adapt to new inputs, and
perform tasks that traditionally require human intervention. It is important to note that
Artificial Intelligence is not just a buzzword; it's a transformative force that is reshaping
industries, solving complex problems, and revolutionizing how we live and work.

Integration of AI into daily practices has become widespread in modern society. As

technology continues to advance, AI is increasingly spreading its influence to various
domains, significantly impacting contemporary society. Implementing AI into Language
Acquisition classrooms has the potential to significantly change the success levels of
reaching the set lesson objectives in a second language acquisition classroom.

This project aims to enhance language learning for Grade 9 students by leveraging AI
tools to support key language skills—conjunctions, pronunciation, and punctuation.
Using Unit 2, "May I Help You?" from the Grade 9 English textbook, the project
integrates real-life conversational scenarios to create a practical and engaging learning
experience.

Effective communication skills are essential in today’s globalized world. However,

learners often face challenges in acquiring new vocabulary and achieving accurate
pronunciation. AI-powered tools, such as AI Lingo Play, can help address these
difficulties by providing contextual vocabulary practice and personalized pronunciation
feedback. By simulating real-life scenarios, students are immersed in authentic language
use, improving their retention and comprehension. Visual aids, such as AI-generated
images, further stimulate interest and aid in memorizing vocabulary, making learning
both efficient and enjoyable.

The project divides the lessons into three focused sessions—conjunctions,

pronunciation, and punctuation—to build comprehensive language skills. Through this
approach, students not only gain confidence in their spoken and written English but also
develop a deeper understanding of the importance of effective communication in
everyday situations. This innovative learning method combines traditional textbook
material with modern AI-driven tools, offering a powerful, immersive learning
experience tailored to students’ needs.
