Foot treadle

The STYLIX II radiographic table is equipped with electromagnetic locks, which hold the
tabletop in the required position. To release these locks for repositioning a patient, step on
the foot treadle. The transversal and the longitudinal locks can be released individually or
simultaneously. By pressing the foot treadle half way, first the transversal movement will be
unlocked and you can move the tabletop to its center position where it will automatically
stop. To gain free control of the four-way tabletop movement, press the foot control further
down, the longitudinal and transversal brakes will be fully released simultaneously.
Movement of the tabletop is accomplished with the table control handgrip.

4.2 Bucky positioning

The STYLIX II radiographic table is equipped with a universal Bucky device and cassette
tray. Use the Bucky release pushbutton to disengage the magnetic lock and move the Bucky
device to the desired position. The Bucky release pushbutton is a momentary switch that
locks the Bucky device in the required position when the button is released.

4.3 Loading a cassette

The STYLIX II radiographic table features a heavy-duty cassette tray, which accepts
cassettes from 13 to 43 cm. To load the cassette, pull the cassette tray forward and place
the lock handle in release position. Open the cassette holding jaws and place the
appropriate cassette into the tray and align it. Push the lock handle against the cassette and
rotate the handle clockwise to secure the cassette. To release the cassette, rotate the
