+ J/6.0mm hook
+ Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in Spring Green (You can
use any yarn. We recommend worsted weight yarn.
Gauge does not matter for this pattern.)
+ Tapestry needle
Abbreviations (U.S. terms)
ch: chain st(s): stitch(es)
dc: double crochet trc: triple crochet
hdc: half double crochet ( ): all stitches inside parenthesis worked
sc: single crochet into the same stitch
Directions
Please note: You will skip all ch 1 spaces.
1. Ch 8
2. In 2nd ch from hook, (2 sc), 6 sc

This next step may look kind of weird, but just go with it! This step will give the leaf a nice
curved shape.
6. Ch 1, 1 hdc, 1 hdc, (2 hdc), 1 hdc, (2 hdc), 2 hdc, (2 hdc), 2 hdc, skip the ch space, (5 dc)
into next st to create the tip of the leaf
