Reading Guide For Rick Riordan
(google drive)
• Each project is centered, and highlighted with different colors (I leave the CO LORDS HERE, QUICKIE: RIORDANVERSO ,
RR
PRESENTS , 39 CLUES , TRES and daughter of the depths ). If you are already knowledgeable and want to consult some
NAVARRE ,
specifically, swipe quickly until you see it. I did this by focusing mainly on those who are new and
They don't even know where to start.
• If you want to download the books, I leave you the link to my Uncle Rick library here: Mega and GDrive ; and
also
on the buttons under the title and at the bottom of the page.
◦ All the books that I mention in this blog are included there, in Spanish and English, and in pdf and epub (of
course, as long as they have already been published; and in Spanish only if they are already translated).
I recommend downloading from your computer. Even though I have made the folder as light as possible
Possibly, it is still very heavy for the cell phone; In addition, on a cell phone it is much more complicated to
manage downloads (compared to a computer).
◦ I also suggest you save the link; I update the folder constantly, adding the books that come out as soon as
I get them (in English, I usually upload them the day or the day after they are published; and in Spanish, as
• I include the publication date of each book so you can get an idea of the order in which they were published
published.
◦ (Regarding the riverdanverse:) many people recommend reading them in that order (that of publication);
but for me, personally, the going back and forth between one saga and another bothers me a lot (that's why
I haven't been able to read
shadowhunters xD).
◦ If you are able to alternate between books and sagas without losing track of one or the other, go ahead,
the publication order is, in fact, the optimal reading order . The order that I write here is what has worked
◦ There may be some error, some follower friend of yours (or yourself, if you are also a fan) may not agree
with my opinion, but, I repeat, I have done this based on my own experience, based on what I believe. It's
the best way to organize all this with the minimum of fuss.
Riordanverse
• The Riordanverse consists of 3 main "projects": The Camp Half-Blood Chronicles (Greco-Roman mythology),
The Kane Chronicles (Egyptian mythology), and Magnus Chase and The Gods of Asgard (mythology
Nordic). All of these revolve around the same concept: The ancient gods are real. And, being immortal,
They never really disappeared or faded away, so today they are part of our culture and society, and continue to
perpetuate many of their ancient customs: mainly that of getting involved with
mortals, if you know what I mean.
• The Camp Half-Blood Chronicles consists of 3 main "arcs" of 5 books (not counting extras and companions)
each, and The Kane Chronicles, like Magnus Chase, are trilogies. There is no order
mandatory to alternate them, so I ordered them mostly chronologically. You can alternate one and the other
without
any spoiler; The only thing you shouldn't do is read the chronicles of Camp Mestizo in disarray (well, you can, well
yes you can, but there would be many things that either you won't understand, or you're going to spoil them).
• I recommend reading Magnus Chase once you have finished Heroes of Olympus, as there are books in the
Apollo tests happening simultaneously with Magnus Chase, and references are made to events in them;
so, in my opinion, Magnus Chase should be read immediately before or after the Apollo Trials:
not before Heroes of Olympus and much less before Percy Jackson and the Olympians. And the same
It happens with Heroes of Olympus and the Kane Chronicles.
Well, that was a lot of text already xD. Now yes... *drum roll*
• These books were not written by Uncle Rick at all (they are classics of literature, you have probably
heard from them. They were written in the 8th century BC)But, according to Rick himself, they occur within
this
universe.
• I put them first because I think they provide a very good basis for understanding the entire mythological
mess that is
comes, although it is still optional to read them .
DEMIGODS AND WIZARDS (Crossover Chronicles of Camp Half-Blood / The Kane Chronicles):
• 01 - The Son of Sobek (2013)
• 02 - The Staff of Serapis (2014)
• 03 - Ptolemy's Crown (2015)
covering more mythologies (Wow, a single author cannot cover all the pantheons that exist).
• I am going to list them according to their order of announcement/publication, since they do not belong as such to
the Riordanverso and
Having been written by different authors, they can be read in any order, of course, respecting the order they have
within their own saga.
◦ A small disclaimer: most of these books have not been published in Spanish, so I have translated several
of the titles (not all) while writing this list. What I mean is, it's not the titles
