Proposal For Establishment Of Brotherhood Club

In

Addis Ababa University

Nov, 2022 Addis Ababa: Ethiopia

The proposal of emerging Brotherhood Club.

If we do not maintain brotherhood; brotherhood will not maintain us!

A Brotherhood Club is a great way for students to turn commitment into action. It
can help you connect and organize with others interested in stability. It’s a
framework that promotes learning about brotherhood and gaining skills to deal with
conflict; and then putting those elements together to find ways to take action to
make the Addis Ababa University a better place.

Brotherhood club protects university students as guard from exposing political

conflict and crisis. Brotherhood Club provides a platform where students of the
University can learn culture, language and their skill from each other and also
exchange experiences, teach others and apply the knowledge of peace and fraternity
in their everyday life. It aims to provide a framework that promotes learning about
peace and gaining skills to deal with conflict and then putting those elements
together to find ways to take action to make the our country a better place ever. It is
an opportunity for students to turn their commitment into action.

Brotherhood club have no set form and the resources below provide an adaptable
framework that can be creatively modified: it is specific enough to compare
experiences between Brotherhood Club, but broad enough to be flexible to the
needs of individual schools and communities.

Brotherhood Club is a form of brotherhood infrastructure and a practical approach to

educating for unity and tolerance in university and communities. The participants are
all volunteers who meet to discuss the conflicts they face at university and
elsewhere. Role playing ways of handling such conflicts are a common activity and
train members in the skills of conflict management, resolution and transformation.

Brotherhood Club officially began in 2015 and is the official student group for the

University, local community and service to others. Members continue to participate
in these activities and they are constantly finding new opportunities to serve others,
