MY UNDERSTANDING

21st Century learning is the constellation of learner characteristics which

equips students to enjoy a high quality of life, work and relationships by being
resilient, intentional, creative and confident learners who understand the value
of collaboration, the relationship of effort to results and the need to be
continually growing and learning.
II. LIFE AND VALUES INTEGRATION

Share a personal experience in which you were able to develop any of the 21 st
century skills. What life lessons and values have you realized and learned?

 Based on my observation in our institution that our instructors created and

provided learning activities that enabled us to grasp the critical thinking,
communication, teamwork, and creativity that are crucial to success in the
21st century skills. During our discussions, particularly in our major
subjects, I notice that our teacher tested our critical thinking by
encouraging us to give our own interpretation of a literary piece that is we
are prohibited from surfing the internet to look for a literary analysis. With
that being said, I realized that as a future educator, it is crucial to create
my own literary analysis because doing so will improve my critical
thinking abilities and enable me to think independently. I also discovered
that I must inspire my future students to create their own interpretations of
literary works. Our lectures gave us reporting assignments for specific
topics in order to improve our communication skills. Because of that. With
regard to the promotion of collaboration and creativity, our teachers
instructed us to work in groups to complete projects and educational
activities. This made me realize that having good communication skills is
a necessity for teachers to be effective educators. After saying that, I
understood that collaboration and creativity are crucial because I plan to
become a teacher in the future. Together with my coworkers, I must also
come up with practical ways to deal with the academic and behavioral
issues that students face.
1. REASEARCH ANALYSIS AND IMPLICATION

1. ANALYSIS: How can 21st Century skills prepare students to enter

workforce and higher education?

 Our students must be nimble critical thinkers who can connect and work
with others across a variety of media and solve challenges from the real
world. If today’s students want to achieve their goals, they must learn to
become proficient communicators, innovative creators, sharp critical
thinkers and multifaceted collaborators. In preparing students for success
in higher education and the workforce, it can help to train them with a
strong critical thinking skill. The capacity for reasoning effectively, use of
system thinking to make decisions and resolve problems is also a critical
skill. In order to aid student’s development of other key skills such as
increasing concentration, deepening analysis capabilities and improving
their ability to cope with thoughts, it may be essential that they become
proficient in critical thinking. Students need to be educated on how to
express their views in a variety of contexts, so as to understand clearly
what they mean. In a variety of environments, with different media and
technologies, they need to be able to hear effectively for the purpose of
analyzing meaning and speaking well. Understanding how to identify the
correct source of information is vital for working professionals, how to
make sure that they can be used successfully and how to exploit culturally
effective contribution of global teams. Because these skills are commonly
required for complex communication, where direct human interactions, it
is unlikely that in the future such jobs will be automated.

2. IMPLICATION: Why do you think professional development on teaching

21st Century skills is needed by teachers in the field?

 Professional development in the 21st century provides teachers with tools

and capabilities which allow them to stay on top of student needs while
preparing themselves for a changing educational landscape. Reflection
exercise are needed in order to identify areas of strength and area where
attention should be given to growth. Reflecting on practices for the 21 st-
century in curriculum and instruction. Consideration of strategies which
have the greatest impact on improving student and teacher performance is
also part of this process. A graduate student taking courses in his or her
career and pursuing a degree provides knowledge, allowing them to reflect
on the educational role they are playing day after day.

Share a personal experience where you have exhibited functional literacy.

What life lessons and values have you realized and learned?

 I came to the conclusion that functional literacy is a concept after reading

numerous definitions. Literacy necessary for social and professional
survival. It is also a literacy, that forces you to adapt to the shifting needs.
Finding these concepts made me realize that I have demonstrated
functional literacy both in the past and currently. financial planning my

reside by making good use of my social media profiles. as when
examining internet debates determining if it is true or just false

successfully. I've realized that, in my present situation and future, it will
be very important for me to acquire these essential and helpful skills. My
lack of literacy skills will lead me to find myself unemployed, or
employed in jobs with low wages and unfavourable working conditions.
For this reason, if I am to have a chance of survival, contributing to
society and enjoying my life, then I must do all I can to get myself literate
as soon as possible.
III. RESEARCH ANALYSIS AND IMPLICATION

1. ANALYSIS: How are new literacies integrated by student teachers and

cooperating teachers in their schools?

 Well, it can't be denied that Technology is an integral part of creating new

literacies because it allows for the development of new learning
techniques, improvements to existing ones and also growth. Furthermore,
new literacies have been mainstreamed by students teachers and
cooperation teachers at their schools. This collaboration includes, among
others, the use of new literacies in school by implementing professional
development within a classroom, planning lessons for young pupils with
new literacies and driving dyad cooperation.

2. IMPLICATION: How did the results of the study on new literacies in

Midwestern public university impact the student teaching design?

 As a result of this study a new innovative teaching method for students

that helps prepare teachers in the 21st century classrooms has emerged.

school. What life lessons and values have you realized and learned?

 Integrating of new literacies to the curriculum It helps to develop our life

long learning process, social and professional skills. We've come face to
face with technology in this generation. We're probably come across a
new generation of students with very early exposure to technology, and
that is what the Common Object of New Literacies is always Information
Technology. I don't think technology can replace us as a future teachers,
because teachers are always facilitating, because the technology is there to
be used by the teachers. Today's comparison between that time and the
present is, for example, with a lot of our students today in particular
because they are dealing with new ways to learn. The distance online
learning the blended learning, only the devices the technology laptop and
cellphone, more like paperless. However, they have already been exposed
to distance learning via the internet as well as a combination of both
courses in another country. I think in our country some big universities
have already introduced this kind of method, but even private and public
schools discriminate against us according to the level of learning they
have.
III. RESEARCH ANALYSIS AND IMPLICATION

1. ANALYSIS: How does integrated curriculum impact student’s

comprehension of expository texts?

 Students' understanding of expository texts is impacted by integrated

curricula in a way that ensures their success in the classroom. Repetition,
finding important connections to the content, and a rise in student interest
in expository texts all contribute to improving students' academic
performance. Integrated curriculum offers the promise of giving students
a curriculum connected across disciplines and enabling students to
increase their comprehension of expository texts. Additionally, integrated
curriculum enhance their comprehension, specifically in understanding
and interpreting of any expository text. It has a significant impact on
students' capacity to relate personally to the readings within an integrated
curriculum. Additionally, it develops their varied skills in regard to
academic success.

2. IMPLICATION: How can professional development for teachers respond

to enhancing an integrated curriculum toward a better comprehension of
students?

 By introducing educators to new delivery techniques, evaluation styles,

and record-keeping techniques, professional development for instructors
helps them become more effective in their lectures and course evaluations.
Teachers are able to return to the classroom and modify their lecture styles
and curricula to better meet the requirements of their students when they
learn new teaching tactics through professional development. They can
improve an integrated curriculum by being more effective and by giving
students more time to concentrate on them rather than on their
assignments. Through professional development programs, educators can
broaden their subject-matter expertise. A teacher's knowledge and industry
understanding increase with the amount of professional development he or
she receives, which improves student comprehension

II. REASEARCH ANALYSIS AND IMPLICATION

1. ANALYSIS: How can the use of multicultural texts impact student’s

understanding and acceptance of diverse cultures?

 With the help of multicultural literature, students can more fully comprehend both
their own culture and the cultures of others. In order to bridge the gap
between students from different cultural origins, relationships can be established
via this better understanding. Students would benefit from exposure to
multicultural literature by developing a broader having knowledge of the world.
Despite the fact that reading multicultural literature can teachers with difficulties

multicultural literature in students' life. Not only would reading multicultural
literature allow students to learn about other cultures but will provide them the
chance to communicate their own ideas as well. But first, in order Teachers must
comprehend the significance of including multicultural texts in order to do that. If
we want to see a rise in student acceptance and participation, teachers must
incorporate these ideas. Reading intercultural literature with pupils fosters
appreciation for diversity promotes innovative ways of understanding the world.

2. IMPLICATION: How can this study contribute to the school’s practice of

multiculturalism?

 All children benefit from multicultural education by feeling more at home in the
curriculum and the classroom. According to Howell, it is a field of study that
supports methods for promoting and advocating educational equity for all
children, regardless of age. Ethnic, racial, linguistic, and gender concerns that
might marginalize particular groups or subgroups of individuals are its main areas
of focus, able it they are not the only ones. It assures that all students feel valued
and heard while acquiring the knowledge, abilities, characteristics, and attitudes
necessary to function in a democratic society.

II. LIFE AND VALUES INTERGRATION

Share a personal experience of practicing social literacy. What life lessons

and values have you realized and learned?

 In order to us to be successful, it is so crucial that we has social literacy.

In learning, communication skills and the ability to express ideas and
opinions as well as listening to other people's thinking are essential. It's
very useful to be able to pick up the signals and norms of society. We use
social literacy in every single context of our lives, whether it's at school,
home, work, club or activity, communicating with the people that we
meet face to face and behind technology.
III. RESEARCH ANALYSIS AND IMPLICATION

1. ANALYSIS: How can the practice of daily journal determine student’s

social literacy based on the study?

 It is also possible to understand how students see themselves as a part of

society and are required to contribute to it, through knowing what they
already possess in terms of Social Literacy skills. Through their daily
journal, students' social literacy skills are interesting and important to
analyse further. The reason is that students' ability to take on social
literacy skills, as well as the knowledge they have acquired with respect to
their social cognition, are a sign of success in implementing these skills.

2. IMPLICATION: What do the findings imply in the light of a teacher’s

instructional strategy?

 The knowledge of citizenship education had also helped the pupils with
their understanding of Human Values, according to the answers given by
the teacher at the interview. It is consistent with what Arthur and Davison
had said about the fact that social literacy does not arise only from
knowledge of societal sciences, but also through education in civics. That
conclusion suggests that, in view of teachers' instructional strategy, they
are very helpful for the teaching process, For example, studies show that
the journal could help students remembering a lesson by helping them to
recall it at their own pace; in this statement teachers won't be having any
problems rewording lessons because of those journals and teaching will be
easy on another topic. However, a very challenging task on the part of the
tutor will be to encourage students to succeed. In order for students to be
attracted, a number of methods or strategies need to be used.

student scale that was developed in this study?

 The way in which digital media literacy is perceived by students at

primary school level as being able to understand current state of affairs
through the presence of digital media and information and communication
technologies has also been demonstrated. The goal of this study is to
define a Theoretical Framework for Digital Media Dissemination and the
ways in which an Integrated Model can be developed. The student's
learning and performance are also influenced by factors. Although this is
not easy to understand, it will have a great impact on the field. The aim of
this study is to establish a theoretical framework for disseminating digital
media and how an integrated model can be developed. There are other
factors that affect the learning and performance of students. Though it's
not easy to comprehend, this is going to have a big impact on the field.

2. IMPLICATION: How does the result of the study impact student learning?

1. ANALYSIS: What are the critical factors in personal financial planning
among higher education teachers?
 There are numerous number of quality factors play an important role in
increasing the knowledge, planning and implementation of personal
finance. Those factors have been derived from variables and are presented
in the form of questionnaires, asking respondents to respond on a 5 Point
Likert scale representing strongly agreeing or strongly opposing views. In
order to condense these variables and identify the specific factors which
are a major cause of almost all variable variation, factor analyses have
subsequently been performed.

2. IMPLICATIONS: What is the impact of each of the factors on financial

literacy and planning among teachers?

 Besides academics, teachers are the most powerful people in our society
and they can make a positive impact on all aspects of human life. They
could become models for students and contribute to the development of
fiscal and social responsibility citizens, by having a thorough
understanding of finance and good management of their own finances. A
person with a good economic sense, especially teachers who have an
important role to play in the development of society, can start planning
more effectively on his or her own finances.

Share a personal experience wherein you encountered digital risk and

consequence. What life lessons and values have you realized and learned?

 Yes I encountered digital risk and consequence like the risk of seeing a lot
of fake information that if you will not observe you can spread it to other
people. I realized that we should think before we click because there is a
tendency that we encounter a lot of consequences like we are on trouble
with someone else.
III. RESEARCH ANALYSIS AND IMPLICATION

1. ANALYSIS: How do teachers perceive digital literacy integration into their

classrooms, according to the study?

 The teachers considered the incorporation of digital media literacy in the

classroom to be successful. Although attitude is the conviction that specific
actions, such as instructors integrating digital literacy, are connected to particular
outcomes or outputs. Teachers! Individual evaluations of each outcome's
effectiveness are taken into consideration. Teachers are encouraged to incorporate
digital literacy if they think it will help students study more effectively or develop
21st-century skills. This might work, but the study found that there are still a lot
of variables that can affect how it's put into practice, including peer pressure.
Teachers' practices are influenced by their beliefs, and those beliefs about digital
literacy may affect how much they try to use it effectively in the classroom. Given
that the purpose of this study was to identify the service teachers' behavioral,
normative, and control views on their Intents to include digital literacy into their
classes, they needed to apply their decision-making skills carefully when carrying
it out.

1. IMPLICATIONS: How does the result of the study impact of the student's
learning and the development 21st century skills?

 The results, which have not been as effective as it is because schools are fully
aware that the importance of understanding digital literacy for teachers and
students was made clear by this study, were much greater than they would be
without them. However, the problem is that no specific plan to operate it without
any problems exists. This is an effective strategy, but the classroom can't do this
and it won't be possible to adequately operate. So they have to find a way to
address that because it could benefit students in terms of their dreams. The
benefits of the development of 21st century skills, increasing students'
engagement and preparing them for future careers are apparent. These studies
show that, in order to enable students to learn effective use of digital media and
thus prepare them for a global world, more than 70% of teachers incorporate
digital literacy into classrooms because of the considerable importance of digital
literacy towards building 21st century skills.

Share a personal experience in which you initiated or participated in any activity

that contributed the environmental sustainability. What life lessons and values
have you realized and learned?

 As I think back on what I've learned, I just wanted to say that what I've learned
has further strengthened my convictions that human activity has a long-lasting
impact on the ecosystem. If we continue along the path of leaving enormous
carbon footprints and utilizing products that have a detrimental impact on the
environment, it could drastically alter our natural resources. Since I was very
young, I have always paid close attention to sustainability. Understanding the
negative repercussions and the necessary improvements is therefore very essential
to me. I now understand how businesses are impacted by sustainability and how
their business impacts the planet. From everything I've learned in this session, my
eyes have been expanded even further. When making decisions, it is crucial to be
aware of the long-term effects that we have on the planet. Though we may not
realize it, our decisions do have a big impact on the environment. Our
environment was designed to provide users with the natural resources they need to
survive, but it is increasingly constrained due to the growing number of people
who want access to these resources.

III. RESEARCH ANALYSIS AND IMPLICATION

1. ANALYSIS: How can you interpret the findings of the study with regard
to student’s eco-literacy and creativity in waste utilization and project-
based leaning (PBL?

 The fact that project-based learning models lead students to explore key
forces, to ask questions they understand in the investigation process to
produce products, to think creatively, critically, and skillfully, to examine
and relate characterized by a number of features, including Between the
real world and the material, the real question in project-based learning
models is learning objectives and commitment towards completion of
projects and material objects, competencies in attitudes, knowledge and
skills through completion of projects and tasks. The Project Based model
encourages students to work independently, engage in problem solving
and other relevant activities through which they are encouraged to
improve their education, as well as produce Real world Work; the results
of this study show that learning capacity for eco-literacy has increased.
Moreover, students develop a feeling of being able to speak up and are
more involved in the learning process. This demonstrates that an approach
based on Project Learning can increase students' eco-literacy and
creativity.

2. IMPLICATION: How can PBL improve the eco-literacy and creativity of

students based on this research?

 There are many ways in which PBL can raise students' awareness of eco-
literacy and creativity. First of all PBL can help understudies to gain a
more comprehensive understanding of environmental issues by opening up
the opportunity for students to be part of an engaged exercise. The
important 21st century skills of critical thinking, problem- solving and
teamwork can also be learnt by students who are encouraged to think
creatively about potential solutions for environmental issues through PBL.

creativity done in this study towards planning a visual artwork?

 In the context of the process of brain networks for visual creativity, they tested the
hypothesis that creativity would affect the functional connectivity between the
regions involved in the default mode network. The concept of creativity affecting
functional connectivity between areas in the default mode network has been
investigated using brain networks for visual creativity. Their investigation was
aimed at assessing the hypothesis that creativity would, in turn, have a negative
