Running record observation

Carly is using both hands to try to experiment with the velcro. She is
looking around the room and then tries again to open and close the

bib.

Carly then attempts to put the bib around the dolls neck. She keeps
trying without showing any frustration.
Educator comes over and asks,' Where does the bib go Carly?' Carly
holds the bib out with 2 hands.

Learning that occurred

Carly is developing her fine motor skills through experimenting with the velcro
Carly was able to ask for help.
Carly enjoys solitary play
Carly is beginning to show empathy for other by caring for the baby doll
carly is able to use non-verbal skills to communicate
