The main objective of this internship program was to train the student with the application of the
knowledge I gained in the campus. The knowledge which we gain by actually implementation the
techniques we have learnt in theory is a lot different than knowledge in the books that a student
attains in an educational institute. An internship program of 6 to 8 week is essential for a student
to practically implement the knowledge she has learnt in the books; it is also good initial step for
going my very first job.
In an educational institute a student learns lots of company related to account, finance, economics,
and management, but once I jump into practical field, it broadens the perspective and then is the
time when we know that what is the application of the techniques we have learnt theoretically. The
internship I have done has provided me with lots of experience and I can definitely apply and go
for a job with confidence as I know how to manage things in practical life like teamwork, dealing
with people, leadership etc. and many more things. It has given me with a viewpoint of the jobs
that I will go for further to perform in.
To begin, I want to offer my heartfelt gratitude to Allah for providing me with the strength and
calmness necessary to complete my BBIT courses and complete this report on time. First and
foremost, I Had like to convey my gratitude to my departmental supervisor/HOD. His continual
supervision and recommendations were vital in the successful completion of the report.
From the beginning of this research project to the end of my internship, he was always willing to
offer me advice that was vital in making this report as flawless as possible. He also allowed me to
freely intrude on his valuable time. Without his regular assistance and insightful guidance, I am
confident that I would not be able to complete the assignment in a timely and satisfactory manner.
I had a great internship opportunity in Emirates Logistics LLC (ELGS). It is an excellent chance
for professional development, learning and to meet so many wonderful people and professionals.
As I was provided with an opportunity to be a part of it. I consider myself as a very lucky
individual.
The functioning of Marketing, Human Resource, Operations and little bit of Finance department,
prospective work divisions and assignments, marketing campaign, marketing strategies, the hiring
process, training and development initiatives, , strategies for preserving employee motivation and
dealing with disobedience, planning for salary and benefits, leadership, etc. are all covered in this
research, daily operations done within the boundaries of Emirates Logistics which mainly includes
two major thing the first one is Inbound and the second one is Outbound.
The first chapter of my internship report covers the working of the company, which explain how
Emirates is working and providing warehousing services to satisfy its targeted customer, then a
brief history of the company which will explain how this firm established and lies among the top
companies which provides warehousing services. Number of employees working in Emirates
Logistics there are three shifts in which overall operations are completed, then comes the vision,
mission statements of the company, numbers of services which are provided by the Emirates
Logistics. Then comes organizational structure and hierarchy, certifications, SWOT and PESTLE
Analysis and at the end financial data of the company.
In the second chapter of the report I have explained all the assigned task at Emirates Logistics,
how my supervisor explains the assigned task and help me to complete it on time. The managerial
skills which are possessed by the supervisor which leads the marketing wing and on the other hand
operations wing. At the end how these skills will help my supervisor to tackle the conflict and
manage it properly and the skills which I learned during the duration of 6 semester of BBIT degree.
The third chapter of my internship report includes numbers of operations which are kept on daily
basis and my learnings about these operations, the various tasks which are assigned by my
supervisor at Emirates Logistics in each week of my internship, specific skills learned during my
internship duration. Now, I have the understanding of various aspects of professional work,
The fourth and the Last chapter of my internship report includes overall summary of my
internship report, some loopholes and specific recommendation according to my personal opinion,
and some suggestions to improve the curricula and the methods of teaching for the welfare of the
student of BBIT and other fellows. At last, I have mentioned appendices and the reference from
where I have collected data to complete and cover all the required chapters of my internship report.

Department of Finance:
The Finance Department is in charge of obtaining and disbursing funds for the Emirates Logistics

The marketing division occupies a prominent position since it engages with customers directly and

objectives, this department must also collaborate with other departments. The marketing section is
crucial for introducing the company and creating a positive corporate image, in addition to being
crucial for promoting items and growing sales.
Department of IT:
Most businesses, particularly those in the digital sector, rely on the IT department to make sure
that their computer network is reliable and well-connected. The management of the organization's
technical systems, upkeep of the infrastructure, and general system operation are the three key
areas of concern for the IT department. Beyond that, specialists in the IT department do several
internal tasks on computer hardware and software that support company performance.
There is always a seemingly never-ending list of chores that need to be completed, whether the IT
team consists of two people or twenty. Most employees are unaware that the IT staff is in charge

work practices and safe behavioral standards.
Basically, I did not get internship in specific department such marketing, Supply chain or HR at
Emirates Logistics LLC (ELGS). Therefore, I worked with Marketing wing, Human Resource wing,
When I started my internship at Emirates Logistics, I feel lucky to become a part of this company
for just six weeks. In this tenure I got full support from my superior and senior those are always
available to clear any kind of query about marketing, human resource, operations or administration
topic or processes those are going throughout the company.
So, because of my passion and interest about marketing and operations as well as this real time
learning environment. At the end of my internship period, I can agree with the statement I am not
totally familiar with each and every step of each department but now I am able to understand things
in marketing, HR, and operation (Supply Chain).

• What are the branding strategies of Emirates
• Why you choose emirates for your business

department. Firstly, we will discuss marketing. While in this our main focus is how B2B branding
is conduct by different organizations worldwide and the agendas of the 2nd week are:

which city they actually are, is there any inherited disease in their family, contact no, marital status
of employee, how many members are in their family etc. On the basis of this data Emirates
In the 3rd week of my internship tenure, we studied and analyse the different branding strategies
which are used by different types of industries to promote their brand and aware their existence in
the market to its targeted customers and competitors. So, few of branding strategies are given as:
This following flow chart shows that the whole process of inventory service from point A to point
Z, with the help of flow chart pictures or diagrams. This process has two major domains from one
is inbound and second one is outbound.
1. Inbound Process
2. Outbound process
Inbound Process:
In result gate incharge issue gate pass to driver which I developed by the business plaining officer.
3. Parking Lot:
After clearance from gate staff, vehicle referred to parking lot. And wait for offloading plan.
5. Offloading Activates:
Business Plaining officer (BPO) forward offloading plan towards floor incharge (floor
Supervisor). Then the floor incharge called concerned driver of parked vehicle in allocated pit
number or area.
i. Seal Condition
ii. Shipment Documents and Picklist
iii. Client Verification
8. During Offloading:
A store officer (S/O) is responsible to separate and manage units those are damaged or excessive
in ongoing offloading. He is also responsible for the proper counting of cases (units), those are
stacked on pallet.
9. Pallet Movement:
A worker moves these pallets on a location given on a bin card on near to the aiel by using a hand
jack under the supervision and instruction of store officer (S/O).
Outbound Process:
1. Email Communication:
BPO receive the email of sales of goods (outbound) from the concerned representative of the
company in operation then this information is shared with head of security.
3. Parking Lot:
After verification vehicle set on queue and waiting for further orders of floor incharge.
4. Call on turn:
Floor in-charge call one by one on the basis of sale priority data.

In 5th week of my internship, we worked on two major aspects the first one is with marketing
strategies used by different logistics companies in marketing wing. Logistics Companies Using
Branding Strategy:
• Co-Branding
• Clients branding
• Industry Conferences
• Participation in industrial Expo
The second one is with Human Resource in which we worked on master data collection of whole
organization. Basically, their aim is to verify the data which they had collected in the past when a
At the end, in last (6th) week is based on documentation which include personal documentations,
preparation of internship report, prepare a presentation on Emirates logistics which consist of basic
data about firm, learning during the period of internship, finding out loopholes in Emirates logistics
and future recommendations for further improvement.
Management Style:
In Emirates Logistics managers used Democratic Management Style. In a democratic style, the
majority is the deciding factor. Because they value the variety of viewpoints on their team and
recognize that people are the key to a team's success, managers encourage employee participation
in decision-making. Democratic managers ultimately agree with all decisions, but because they
encourage employee participation, their team greatly influences their manager's choice.
Because managers are aware that involving their team in decision-making increases morale, fosters
a positive work environment, and creates a mutually beneficial working relationship, employees
are heavily involved in decision-making. Because they are carrying out a plan that they developed
together, it is also simpler for managers to persuade their staff to support a team's vision.
Conflict Management:
When there is discord among employees as a result of divergent interests, personalities, opinions,
or ideologies, workplace conflict results. Conflict in the workplace is inevitable and is only to be
expected when people from various backgrounds and viewpoints work together. A variety of
behaviors, such as a lack of cooperation, verbal abuse, bullying, rage, subpar or delayed work,
project failure, and others, can be used to convey conflict.
Consider the procedures that keep your business afloat. Within interconnected workstreams,
numerous cross-functional processes frequently occur. For instance, we take the example of
Emirates Logistics if a vehicle arrived at and then into parking. After that Business Plaining Officer
plans to offload the vehicle and place in the bay area then in aiels then it will be done otherwise it

Classroom learning refers to an in-class technique of conveying information where the presenter
used lectures, dialogues, and multimedia tools to teach a class about health issues and
organizations that help the poor. A classroom with tables and chairs next to a chalkboard or dry
writing board. Perhaps you picture a large lecture hall with the lecturer in the front, using
PowerPoint presentations on a screen to help students better understand the day's lesson; these are
examples of typical classroom learning environments.
While an internship is a type of experiential education that combines classroom knowledge and
theory with hands-on experience and skill development in a professional setting. Internships allow
students to get significant practical experience and build contacts in professional disciplines they
are interested in pursuing as a career path, while also allowing companies to mentor and evaluate
their employees. In other words, it is a strategy in which students were engaged in the community,
gaining firsthand knowledge of health issues and agencies that serve the disadvantaged.
Learning occurs as a result of the student's active participation. He learns by doing, not by listening
to the teacher. The experiences supplied, not the things to which the learner is merely exposed, are
the most important components of an education.
Students in a traditional classroom have the chance to connect with their teachers and classmates
one on one. This serves as both a social and educational advantage. Because kids encounter the
very same classmates every class, they have the opportunity to establish friendships. Students have
the opportunity to directly engage in a lecturing or class discussion. While, hands-on learning or
practical working is preferred by some people than listening to instructions or watching videos. It
is also easier to learn through experience. Experiential learning like internship or house makes
easier for students to understand the tough and bigger picture concepts and case studies.
Overall Summary:
As someone who is absolutely new to the corporate sector, every hour spent at Emirates Logistics
LLC provided me with valuable experience that cannot be expressed in words. Nonetheless, they
were all beneficial to my career.
This paper explains how Emirates Logistics LLC All Departments work, what sections and job
assignments are feasible, the production procedure, training, and development objectives, and how
Emirates Logistics LLC provides warehousing as well as fleet services to its valuable customers
like Unilever, Up-field, and GSK etc.
I worked in Emirates Logistics LLC Marketing, Human Resource, and Supply Chain Division with
most of the other departments' wings, including staff member data collection, building flow chart
of major operations activities (Inbound & outbound), Acquiring knowledge & Organization
Advancement (Training), Compensation, HR Administration tasks, Marketing strategies, HR
policies, material handling processes, and so on.
Emirates Logistics LLC has a well-developed marketing, human resource, and supply chain
divisions. It efficiently manages organizational duties. Emirates Logistics HR, Marketing, and
Workers teams are all well-organized and well-known.
Most notably, I was exposed to a practical and professional world environment, and during this
period, I gained a variety of skills with the help of Emirates Logistics management. I was unable
to condense all of my internship experiences into a paragraph. Furthermore, I got a wonderful
opportunity to interact with ELGS employees, which allowed me to improve my communication,
timeliness, and commitment.
My own ideas on marketing loopholes & supply chain, as well as my contribution to the Marketing
and supply chain are also mentioned in this report. With my minimal expertise and knowledge, I
did my hardest to make this research as transparent as possible and to transfer real-world
experience into a paper. In a business context, the many barriers to process improvement and
upholding ethical standards have also been encountered. However, the extent to which those rules
and procedures are aligned with the company strategy is debated.
Before jumping to any conclusions based on this report, keep in mind that it was written in a hurry
and there is a shortage of information. However, the report may be beneficial in the design of any
future research to examine the Emirates Logistics different facilities.
Specific Recommendation:
As a result of the excellent working environment offered by Emirates Supply Chain Services (Pvt)
Ltd, I would like to finish by saying that I feel really fortunate to be a member of the company. I
took a temporary job because I wanted to understand more about the activities market and wasn't
motivated by the need for a degree, and it has been a learning and information-filled experience.
They provided me with a highly respectable opportunity to work with them and get knowledge of
their business and branding strategy. Overall, it was a very positive experience since I learned how
things are used in practice. Every established nation has a solid logistic system however Pakistan
is a developing nation and has to strengthen its logistic system to advance its growth. To meet their
objectives, Emirates Supply Chain Services (Pvt) Ltd should employ recently created WMS
