    EDIBLE CORN STARCH
    1- Definition & Application:
    It is high quality food grade carbohydrate free flowing powder extracted from corn grains. It is insoluble in cold water
    or organic solvents, when cooked in water it forms a firm opaque gel.
    Edible Corn Starch is a multifunctional ingredient exhibiting properties that can be used in several food applications
    and manufacturing processes: texturizing agent, film former, water binder, filler and thickener. Edible Corn Starch is
    applied in food products as:
    - soups, sauces, and gravies
    - cream and custard fillings
    - puddings
    - salad dressings
    - icings
    - dry mixes
    - meat and poultry
    - bakery industry

    2.2 Form Free flowing powder
    2.3 Moisture Content, % 12-13
    2.4 Protein, % 0.4 Max.
    2.5 pH (10% solution) 5-6
