❖ Unit 2: Linear Equations
❖ Unit 3: Linear Functions
❖ Unit 4: Systems of Linear Equations & Inequalities
❖ Final Exam - Teacher Made

Late Work and Absences:

A “missing notation” will be placed in Powerschool along with a 0% until the work is turned in for
grading. If the work is not turned in, the zero will remain as the recorded grade. All late work will
receive a “late notation”, informing that the work was turned in after the due date. Missing work will be
due by Q1 10/20; Q2 - 1/12; Q3 3/15; Q4 5/24. If the assignment is not turned in by deadline dates,
the grade will remain 0%. If a student is absent, they are allotted 2 days for every 1 day absent to
make up their work; this is in accordance with JCPS Policy.

Cell Phone Policy:

Cell phones are strictly prohibited unless students are given specific permission from their teacher.

1st Offense - The teacher will provide a warning.

2nd Offense: The teacher will ask for the phone to be displaced in a safe place.
3rd Offense: The teacher will contact the parent/guardian of the student.
4th Offense: The teacher will ask an administrator to collect the phone until the end of the period, or
the end of the school day.

Tardy Policy:
Students are to be in their seats or gathering materials for class before the bell rings. We will follow
the tardy policy in accordance with the school’s student handbook.

Bathroom Policy:
My expectation is for students to utilize the restrooms before and after classes. If students request to
use the restroom, one student will be allowed permission to the restroom at a time. Students are
required to have a hallway/bathroom pass when leaving the classroom. Students are expected to
return at an appropriate time, unless given a valid reason to the teacher.
Grading:
