Who may qualify as lector/commentator?

Any member of the Parish may qualify as a lector/commentator if he/she is: a. a Roman Catholic of good
moral standing;
b. At least 16 years old; and
c. Proficient in Filipino and/or English, or in the dialect as determined in screenings conducted by Ministry of
Readers and/or the Parish Priest, or by any person authorized by either of them to conduct such screening.

What do I need to satisfy to be a member of Ministry of Readers?

Any qualified lector/commentator in the Parish may become a member of Ministry of Readers by voluntarily
applying for membership in the ministry, satisfactorily fulfilling training requirements, and obtaining the
required endorsements from the Parish Priest, Worship Ministry Coordinator, and Ministry of Readers
Coordinator.

Further, any member, upon satisfying the requirements for active membership, can serve the Parish until the
age of 70 years old.

Please submit this form to the Parish office on during Lenten Season.

Please attach a copy of your Baptismal Certificate, and if you are married, a copy of your Marriage
Contract. Screening of applicants is year round in the Parish church.
