Good day!

As per Republic Act 7160 or the Local Government Code of the Philippines as sited in Section
147 - Municipalities may impose and collect reasonable fees and charges on businesses and
occupations commensurate to the cost of regulation, inspection and licensing before a person
may engage in any business or occupation, or practice such profession or calling.

Adopted by the Local Revenue Code of 2018 in Chapter III, A rticle A. Section 3A.01. Mayor’s
Permit. – “All persons are required to obtain a Mayor’s Permit for the privilege of conducting business
within the municipality”.

Also in R.A. 7160 Sec. 444 (b)(3)(iv) - Issue licenses and permits and suspend or revoke the same for
any violation of the conditions upon which said licenses or permits had been issued, pursuant to law
or ordinance;

Sir / Madam:

Magandang araw!

Ang pagnenegosyo sa Pilipinas, bilang solong nagmamay-ari, may ka-partner maging


korporasyon man ay nangangailangan ng permit mula sa gobyerno. Ang isang namumuhunan o
negosyante ay kailangang kumuha ng lisensya sa pagnenegosyo sa local na pamahalaan kung
saan niya itatayo ang kanyang negosyo gayun din ang pagrehistro nito sa DTI or SEC. Kaugnay
dito, ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Bataraza ay nag aatas na lahat ng Negosyo na nagooperate sa
bayan ng Bataraza ay nararapat lamang na kumuha ng Business Permit mula sa Munisipyo ng
Bataraza.

Hango sa Republic Act 7160 or the Local Government Code (naipasa noong October 1991)
binangit sa Section 147- ang mga Bayan ay maaring mangolekta ng resonableng fee at charges
sa mga negosyo at mga trabaho o serbisyo na nauukol sa gastos sa pagpapalakad, pagiinspect
at paglilisensya bago ang sinuman ay maaring mag negosyo o magbigay ng kanilang serbisyo.

Ang paalala na ito ay inilalahad sa inyo bilang unang paalala na dapat kayong kumuha ng
Business Permit upang maipagpatuloy ang inyong negosyo sa bayan na ito. Gayun na din upang
maging patas sa iba pang negosyante na legal na nagnenegosyo sa lugar ninyo.

Matapos ang paalala na ito, kami po ay magpaptupad ng nauukol sa batas kung kayo ay may
paglabag. Gayun pa man, kami ay umaasa na kayo po ay magpoproceso nang inyong Business
Permit sa lalong madaling panahon.

Salamat at pagpalain kayo ng Diyos.
