Be Winter 2021

This document is an exam for a course on Fuels and Combustion. It contains 5 questions testing knowledge of various fuels like coal, crude oil, and biofuels. It asks students to calculate properties like calorific value, explain production processes, and compare different fuel production techniques. For example, question 3 asks students to define calorific values, describe how coal devolatilizes at different temperatures, and explain the atmospheric distillation process. The document provides instructions for the exam and lists the questions along with the number of marks allocated to each question.
