Introduction:

Good morning everyone! This is Kalaichelvan Suresh of grade XI-B1

standing before you and it is my pleasure to be your host for today's
event that is the independence day ceremony. On behalf of Vetri
Vikaas Hr.Sec School, I extend a very warm welcome to all of you
gathered over here on this glorious day to celebrate the spirit of
freedom and mark the occasion of Independence Day.
We stand here with a sense of pride, knowing that we are fortunate to
live in a country where freedom and democracy prevail.
Independence Day is not just a day to hoist our national flag and
enjoy a day off; it is a reminder of the sacrifices made by our
forefathers and the responsibility we have to uphold their legacy.
Today, we have a lineup of events that will remind us of the
significance of this day and reignite our love for our motherland.
But before we begin, let me welcome our beloved chairman sir,
honourable directors, respected principal mam of Vetri Vikaas Hr.Sec
School and the respected principal mam of Vetri Vikaas International
School, teachers and my dear friends. I thank everyone for their
presence on this patriotic day.
Now, we are all set to commence the 77th independence day
celebration for the year 2023.
Tamil thaai vazhthu:
Let’s start this ceremony by paying homage to our nation with an
invocating prayer song. So, I would like to call upon the School Pupil
Leader of this prestigious institution, C.Sasidharan of grade XI-B1 to
take over the gathering.

With great pleasure, I now invite our guiding light, principal Ramya
Rani mam to deliver the welcome address.

Welcome dance (CBSE):
“Celebration without dance? No way!”
Now, the minions of Michael Jackson from our sister concern, Vetri
Vikaas International School are eagerly waiting to reveal up their
innate and specialized talents. Everyone cheer them up.
Group1:
Let me invite the young and energetic dancers of grade KG

to 2 std to express their patriotic moves through a patriotic song.
After Performance:
Thank you, little champs. Your dance moves are amazing
and am spell bound. Everyone give them a big round of applause.
Group 2:
Next, Let me call upon the zestful dancers of grade 3rd to
7th to unleash their sparkling moves with a fusion song.
After Performance:
Thank you guys. Your dance recital was splendid and
astonishing.
Speech:
Next, we have a list of talented speakers eagerly waiting to share their
patriotic thoughts with us.
Speaker 1:
Let me call upon a fervent speaker Devashri of grade XII-
B1 to deliver a thought provoking speech.
After Performance:
Thank you Devashri. Your speech was indeed
patriotic and goosebumping.
Speaker 2:
Next, I would like to call upon a passionate speaker

After performance:
Thank you ______ for your enlightening speech. You
may go to your respective place.
Chief guest/Principal address (OPTIONAL)
Now its my indeed honour to request the most honourable person of
the day, whose lessons and thoughts can bring an optimistic transition
into anyone’s life. Let me magnanimously invite the chief guest of the
day Mr.__________ to step upon the stage and take in hand the
gathering.
After address:
Your speech was indeed motivating and very inspiring sir.

Prize distribution:
“Success is not achieved by winning all the time.
Real success comes when we rise after we fall”….
When it comes to prize distribution ceremonies, it is essential to
appreciate and honour the winners. This not only shows them that
their efforts are appreciated, but also helps to provocate others to
achieve similar success.
Today, we are thrilled to recognize a list of students for their
outstanding accomplishments in various talent search examinations.
1  I cordially invite our beloved Chairman Mr.Vijay sir to apprize
the winners by giving away the prizes.

I feel honoured to stand before you to propose the vote of thanks on
the celebration of independence of our beloved country, India.
On behalf of Vetri Vikaas Hr.Sec School,
 I extend a hearty vote of thanks to our directors,
 I express my gratefulness to our chairman sir, who always
instigates us to try new ways to do things better.
 I extend my sincere gratitude to our Principal mam, who is
behind our success.
 I also thank the teachers who have guided the students to
showcase their innate talents.
 Last but not the least, I would like to thank all the students for
presenting a sense of discipline and enthusiasm during the
ceremony.
Once again I thank all of you for being a part of the Independence day
celebration and for glorifying the day.
