STATUE OF ONENESS
■ The 108 feet high Ashtadhatu statue of Adi Guru Shankaracharya, the originator of Advaita faith, was
unveiled as the Statue of Oneness at Okareshwar (Mandhata) by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on
21st September 2023.
■ The premises of the Statue of Oneness have been developed as 'Advaita Loka' on the lines of Mahakal Loka.
■ Shankar Museum and Acharya Shankar International Advaita Vedanta Institute will also be established here.
■ The cost of the statue is Rs 198 crore. The total cost of the project is Rs 2100 crore.
■ The film will be produced by Ashutosh Gowariker under the name of Acharya Shankar.
■ In 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had unveiled a 12-foot statue of Adi Shankaracharya in Kedarnath
(Uttarakhand).
Advaita Vedanta
■ It articulates a philosophical position of radical non-dualism, a revisionary worldview that it derives from the
ancient Upanishadic texts.
■ According to Advaita Vedantins, the Upanishads reveal a fundamental principle of nonduality termed

National Sickle ◼ Started - On July 1, 2023 (by Prime Minister Narendra Modi) location - Shahdol
Cell Anemia ◼ Objective - To address the major health issues caused by sickle cell disease, particularly

Mission ◼ Key fact -The goal is to eliminate sickle cell disease by 2047.
◼ Scheme Started : July 4, 2023 (from Bhopal)
◼ Objective -To provide employment opportunities to the youth.
◼ Eligibility -Those who have completed 12th, ITI, Graduate, or Post Graduate will be eligible
for this scheme. Applicants must also be residents of Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister ◼ Provision : Youth between 18 to 29 years will be eligible under the scheme.
Sikho-Kamao
• Under this program, students who have passed class 12th will receive a sum of ₹8000,
Yojana (SKY)
while those who have completed an ITI course will be given ₹8500. Similarly, diploma
holders will receive a grant of ₹9000, whereas graduates or those with higher education
qualifications shall be entitled to receive a sum of ₹10,000.
• 700 courses have been selected to provide wide employment opportunities to the youth.
◼ Started - on August 3, 2023
Intensified ◼ Objective – Vaccination of children between the age group of 0 to 5 years and pregnant

Indradhanush ◼ Key fact- The intensive Mission Indradhanush 5.0 campaign will be conducted in three

also get the benefit of the scheme.
◼ This amount can be used to fulfil the small needs of the mother herself and the family.
◼ The benefit of the scheme has started from 10th June, 2023.
◼ Shajapur district has got first position in the implementation of the scheme.

CM - Scooty
◼ Objective: To provide funds to buy scooties for the meritorious students passing class 12

■ Her paintings were also exhibited in Italy.
■ Jodhaiya has not only given international recognition to Baigin Baiga painting but has also
saved it from extinction.

Dr. Munishwar Chandra Dawar (In the field of medicine, District Jabalpur)
■ He treated injured soldiers in the India-Pakistan war in 1971.
■ After retirement from the army, he started providing health services from the year 1972. At
that time, Rs 2 were charged whereas at present Rs 20ise charged as his fees.
■ The name of his hospital is 'Dawar's Medicine'.
