    1 Screen : Should be 12.1 to 12.5” with Color TFT Touch Screen

    2 Should display 3 waveforms and 2 loops with vital settings , patient parameters and alarm
    settings in single view

    3 Should have 2 level user interface.

    4 Direct Access knob for vital setting

    5 Tidal volume : 2 to 300 ml

    Minute Volume : 0.3 – 55 l/min

    Inspiratory pressure : 0 – 115 cm H2O

    Apnea time: 1-45 Sec

    6 Should support both invasive and non-invasive type of ventilation

    7 Breath Rate should be 5 to 145 bpm

    8 Inspiratory peak flow should be 0 to 195 lpm with 3 flow patterns

    9 Following are equivalent modes should be there in the ventilator

    Control Mode: Pressure control, volume control, pressure regularized volume control

    Combined Mode: SIMV (PC) + PS, SIMV (VC)+PS, SIMV(PRVC)+PS, Bi-Vent

    Spontaneous Mode: Volume Support, Pressure Support, CPAP

    16 No gas/bleed wastage should be there

    17 Bias flow triggering should be in the range of 0 to 4 lpm

    18 Air/oxygen blender should be of electronic module

    19 Ventilator should support upgradation of modes such as Open Lung Tool (Breath-to-Breath
    Method),Stress Index,Etco2 monitoring, NAVA (Neurally Adjusted Ventilator Assist)

    20 Should have following lung mechanics

    Static & Dynamic compliance, Total PEEP, Plateau pressure (Pplat), Auto PEEP, Inspiratory &
    Expiratory Resistance, Elastance, Time Constant, P0.1 measurement, Work of Breathing
    patient, Work of Breathing ventilator, Shallow Breathing Index (SBI)

    21 Should have special software such as Suction support, Preset program for Higehr O2
    concentration for 2 Mts. pre-suction, 1 Mt. window for suction & 1 Mt. post-suction,
    Compliance compensation, Tube Resistance Compensation

    22 Should have inbuilt nebulizer and provide humidifier and mini compressor along with it.

    23 Ventilator should be FDA and CE certified

    24 Ventilator should have battery back more than 160 min
