How to Use This Template
Thanks for downloading HubSpot’s Job Description templates! This document should be used as
a jumping-off point for your company’s job descriptions. Use the templates as you see fit to
create compelling and eye-catching job listings.
Below we’ve included a general job listing template (alongside a bank of phrases and terms to
potentially include), alongside department-specific prompts for marketing, sales, and customer
support roles.
Whenever you want to write a new job description, simply make a copy of this template, erase
the italicized instructions, and fill in your own content. We’ve also included placeholder text [in
brackets] which you should replace with content that’s relevant to your listings.
Once you’re ready to begin, delete this page and start filling out the template of your choice.
Remember to add/edit/delete any copy or sections as you see fit.
