10 min. Lesson Focus: Organization:
Passing drill Students use the critical elements associated with passing to pass a
soccer ball in a rectangular fashion. The groups of students will stand
at each corner of the square and pass in a specific order. Once you
pass the ball you follow your pass and move to the new location.

- Step with non-dominant leg
- Rotate striking foot to point toe outward
- Strike the ball with inside of your foot in a forward motion
- Follow through the ball for power
Possible challenges:
- Try passing with only 3 touches
- Switch rotation

Shooting drill - Only pass left foot
Organization:
The field will be set up with each group having one goals to shoot on
roughly 20 yards in front of them. There will be a line of cones set up
to present a line that the students cannot cross. The students will
dribble the ball up to the cones and before they cross the line, they
must shoot the ball utilizing all the critical elements associated with
shooting the ball. One goalie will be added to the goal.
