ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
I. Title: BCS HALALAN : An Automated SPG Election 2023
Theme: Integrity, insight and inclusiveness: Leaders of the Future!

II. Proponent: Ian Jover D. Belga, SPG Adviser

III. Rationale:

The Department of Education (DepEd) acknowledges how important leadership plays in


the Philippine educational system. As such, Supreme Pupil Government have been establish.
Supreme Student Government is a school organization whose purpose is to train the
students to become better citizens in the future and to develop students’ skills and abilities in
achieving quality education and academic excellence through cooperative works among
themselves in achieving their goals.
In cognizance with DepEd OASYASC Memorandum titled “Interim Guidelines of the Youth
Commission on Election and Appointments (Youth COMEA)” and Division Memorandum No. 421
s. 2022, the proponent will conduct a week-long activity entitled BCS HALALAN: An Automated
SPG Election 2022 with the theme “Integrity, insight, and inclusiveness: Leaders of the Future!”.
The activities such as filing the Certificate of Candidacy, room-to-room campaign, social media
campaign and debate and automated election will take place within the time frame with
assurance of not disrupting any classes.
This is the time where the student body will choose and support the next leaders of the
school. It also aims to develop students into well-equipped leaders who can take their place
responsibly in service of the community.

V. Time Frame: September 12-16, 2022

VI. Persons Involved: Bagumbayan CS Teachers, Selected Grade 4 to 6 pupils

VII. Objective/s:
This activity aims:
1. To select competent SPG Officials for SY 2022-2023,
2. To develop students’ participation in selection and choosing the next leaders of the school,
3. To develop students into well-equipped leaders who can take their place responsibly in
service of the community.

VIII. Pre-Implementation Phase:
